these days it got to be addicted to be online 24hrs on facebook. ppl seems like they are nothing without facebook. they want facebook everywhere. i have seen people asking others cell phones or smart phones and log in on facebook and surfing. Does this addiction of facebook is more infectious than alcohol or smoking. Even im addicted but to a limit like when at home i open facebook first then anything else but thats only till home unless until its such important to check. whats your take on facebook and people in and around you and even on ur own self.

I was a member of Facebook even before it introduced games on it. I guess what made Facebook more popular than the other social media sites was the games within the site where most people go, play and have fun. I don't usually play a lot of games on Facebook nor log in as often as I want too. I may check updates for a while but not to the extent of having myself sitting for around 24 hours on Facebook. There are really people out there who cannot live without opening the Facebook account and some would even stay logged in 24 hours a day, especially if they have a Facebook capable smartphone. I don't even share pictures of myself or upload stuff where I could be personally seen by anyone, because hackers may have interest on my account and they may be able to check on me, take all information about me and commit an identity theft on me. That is why, I don't even dare to post photos of me having fun, enjoying a vacation of whatsoever on Facebook. As a saying goes, close Facebook and open your book.

I live on Facebook and I don't even know why. My husband and I had a contest once to see who could stay off of Facebook and Twitter the longest. When I'm not home, I'm on it on my phone. I don't understand myself what the big obsession is. I have over 2,000 friends and I bet I know 100 of them personally. I use Instagram alot to upload my pictures. When something funny happens the first thing we do is grab the phones and tweet it. Or take a picture and Instagram it to our Facebook. Lol. It's childish really and to think about it now, I don't know what it is that keeps us on there so much.

This is what im talking about... everytime some funny thing happens, take a pic and upload it on facebook and yeah most know what funny happened before it being uploaded on facebook, then why upload on facebook and make it public. why make ur life a public topic by updating every single moment of ur life let it be a happy, or a sad, or anything... why?

Yeah facebooking has been a culture now. We can't avoid it. It really connects people. but it leads to some horrible things too. however it is up to people who use it,use it in a good manner and stay away from troubles while you using it. and also we must know not waste our valuable time on fb so many times . I think Facebook will not make money for you while you are on it But mylot pays you so even in financially using mylot gives you more benefits than Facebook. actually even i was addicted to Facebook. but not now. Feel like i am getting addicted to Mylot now. :)Here in mylot,While we get on to wise conversations we can earn some money either.

Yes facebook addition is growying very fast now a days. It is very bad sign. I don't think facebook profiles is correct always. Kids may get harmed by this as kids can't think as much as elders. They believe people whom they know. But I am not a facebook addictor, even I don't open facebook account daily.

For me, I can say that I am slight addict on Facebook sometimes, I always take a glance everyday just to update the status or activities of my friends and I like posting pictures to share it to everyone because I'm not in my local country, though. So, I need to deal with it and just like now I'm soaked whole day on Facebook and it is not good in real speaking. But let's just discipline ourselves sometimes. Have a nice day ! :)

whoah! That is something pretty evident and yet still very odd for me. I really do not find facebook addictive. Maybe because I am not a fan of games, photo sharing and even chat. I just utilize facebook to promote referral links and viewing updates on my friends.

It's a hype. I use it to keep my friends and relatives in my motherland informed. That's the main reason. But I'm glad I have a world far away from the pc as well.

I think that is exaggeration, in my opinion, no one can stay 24 hours in the internet otherwise, your eyes will be blurred and feel burned out. Yes, there are a lot of teenagers who uses Facebook as a way of communicating their friends and even families however, I still don't believe that they stay in Facebook 24 hours a day.

Yeah, many teens tend to spend their life on facebook. But even though i'm a teen, i only use facebook once in a while to speak to friends and family who i don't see much. However, i'm more of a texter :P
