Your CHILD and FRIEND; how to choose between them??

Yesterday, I watched ACCUSED, it's just a series with different episodes of stories. One story made me fall in deep thought after watching. The story began among a group of anti-gun women. Some members were just threaten from a gang. The gang demanded the league broken, but May,the leader, did not intend to give up and wanted to fight against them. But one day unfortunatly, a teenager was shot dead, who was the son of Sue, the best friend of May. The gang shot the boy just wanting to give them a warning. Sue and May were so depressed for the lost of her son. But one day, May just found a gun in her son's room, and she was scared that his son may be the killer, who also joined in the gang. Can your guys imagine what May will do after this finding. She just tried to protect his son against going in jail. But how she was faced with Sue was so terrible with her. She hided the gun, the evidenced, but unfortunately found out by the local police. In the court, she just felt so sorry for Sue that her son was the killer and she wanted to cover the truth. Although Sue lost her son, May is more despressed for how hard she is to be faced with her best friend. And she just hoped that her son was killed instead of May's. As a mother, she will not let herself to put her son into jail, and at the same time she also could not find the right words for her to relieve Sue. I feel so sorry for May, because she lost Sue and her son got imprisoned. It's just such a sad ending for Sue and May. If you were May, how would you to deal with such kind of tragedy.
