I rarely go to mall, because I don't want to spend for unnecessary items. Today, I have to go to the post office which is located in the shopping mall. OMG, there are a lot of people, the shopping mall is very busy. Is it because of getting close to the Christmas? I don't know how people can spend and keep spending money. Most people carry shopping bags. I guess the time of Christmas shopping already starts. It reminds me to start making my Christmas gift list. I am lucky cause I only have a handful of people for gifts. So have you started your Christmas shopping yet?

Good day to you friend, yes the christmas season has started and people are all busy already shopping for the preparations and for the family and friends. I am also like you . I do not go to malls to purchase. IO do not like spending so much money on such unnecessary things and I would rather buy in small shops and save a hell lot of money for myself! There are a lot of things which are not worth spending your fortune on!

That is where I too buy things, places where we could bargain and make a satisfactory deal with the shop keeper. There are people who look down upon when we bargain for stuffs, but I never care for such people because at the end of the day, I am saving money for myself and my family and just for the sake of pride, I can't buy things in big shops like malls which is not worth the money that we pay!

Hi friend, i am also in your sort, not interested in spending money lavishly, but some persons don';t give importance to the money and spend it in various unwanted things. This kind of persons must realize the value of money and use it in a good manner. There is nothing wrong in shopping, but we must buy the products which is necessary.

When I go to the shopping mall in the evening, especially on weekends, it is always busy. There are so many people pushing their carts in the mall choosing whatever interests them and my wife and I are among those people. With the coming of Christmas, there will be more items on sale. Thanks for the discussion.

So you are one of the people who likes going to mall. I see many couples with their little ones in strollers, going to mall. Sometimes I wonder what items that people buy. Clothes, shoes, bags, accessories, electronics? My closet is already full with clothes. I have bags that I never used, same thing with shoes and accesories/jewelry. So whenever I see shoes, bags and clothes, I try to remind myself that I still have ones that never being used. This refrain me from impulse buying. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.. depends on how tempted I am...lol

I don't buy Christmas gifts. Usually try to stay away from the big stores when I do go out. I mainly go to the grocery and library and those aren't too busy at the times of the day when I shop. Having a limited budget takes care of staying away from the busy places. I don't understand how people have the wherewithal to do all of this shopping anyway to load the malls up so.

I don't understand either. How come people can go shopping and shopping. Like how big are their closets for clothes, shoes, bags? I don't like to go shopping also because of limited budget, but still have tons of stuffs in my closet. Sometimes, to avoid buying things out of proportion, I think of how many hours I have to work to get those items. The more hours than that will be my restriction. But my kids are spending money like crazy. Games, electronics. They don't spend too often, but when they spend, it's not cheap. Thank God I have 2 boys. I can't imagine if I have girls...lol

I am not comfortable to shop with lots of crowds. I want to take my time, not to hassle and fight with others to get the items. Sometimes, the crowd makes me confused.

He in mexico the big mall was real busy on saturday. Seems many stores have decided to start the holiday sales early here as well. Sears had their big 35 % 45 5 55 % sales yesterday, Usually they wait ill the day after thanksgiving here. maybe malls think that people wont be spending much money on xmas gifts this year.

Sears here too already start sale. I see sale sign everywhere, but mostly 30% to 40% only. Maybe in the next few weeks the discount will get bigger. I saw other retail stores like Aeropostel already put up to 70% discount sign. Most retailers here have started the sale sign. Once one store start, I think the others have to compete and put their sign too. These days, I bet only a few people will go shopping without sale. I personally will not buy anything full price, unless it's really necessary.

I have not started my shopping yet nor have I made my homemade gifts for my parents, my grandparents, my sister or my grandparents yet. I am still making earrings to sell online and should have them done by Friday (I hope). I have not made my Christmas list yet nor have I set up by budget yet. I usually shop the first week in December and we go during the week when it is not as crowded. I hope Randy will want to start early (if he had his own way he would wait until Christmas Eve).

I have not started my Christmas shopping yet. I typically do not start until at least after Thanksgiving. Also I only have two people to buy for unless my job does some sort of cheesy gift exchange. I'm sure I'll have enough time to pick out two gifts lol.

Hi! I believe nowadays, especially if people have money or has early bonuses, I think they go the mall and buy some gifts. Probably they don't want to shop until the last minute.
Which also reminds me to do my Christmas lists! Lol!!!
