I keep seeing all the Christmas stuff in stores but I don't buy any. I was tempted to buy some good scents the other day but decided against it. I want to wait a little while longer before indulging myself.
We usually don't decorate until after Thanksgiving.

Might as well get on the band wagon then. After all the Christmas Decor does attract customers...

Good for you. Keith talked about putting up ours last weekend but we never got around to it and we didn't again this weekend. I rather dread having a tree up. That means having the twins all over it. They will be pulling at it all of the time. I am trying to convince him to lets put it up on the dining room table and he is not having any of it. Glad you are in the Christmas spirit so early.

It is kind of early, but if you feel like it why not? The stores all have their Christmas stuff out and I am sure your not the only one. I decorate early because I am disabled and it takes me a long time. I haven't started yet though. My friend will come out the Monday after Thanksgiving and bring my decorations up from the cellar. I will start then.

The holidays are a hard time for a lot of people. There is so much pressure to be happy, I think it makes it worse for many. I would keep the tree for a few more years and see if anything improves. I hope it does!

Here in the states it seems like the bring out the Christmas stuff as soon as Halloween is over. It drives me crazy. The odd part is that it never gets me in the mood. The holiday are always a difficult time, and this year is not seeming any easier. I had big hopes that this year it would be different, but I was very much disappointed. Now, after breaking up with the boyfriend, it actually seems worse. The only time that the tree was put up was the year that the ex-boyfriend and I put it up on the weekend of our first anniversary. Now, it is like I cannot even think about taking out the tree. I am starting to think that maybe I should just get rid of it. I have not decorated for about 8 years. It just feels like more I am holding onto the past; then each year I find myself avoiding the holidays and trying not to recall those bittersweet memories.

Yes all stored started early here in mx. Usually they start the last week of november. I saw on news here- they did it early because they feel its going to be a bad shopping season here this year. they want people to get in the mood more early. Worked for me.

Wow, isn't it a little early for Christmas decoration already? I do know a lot of the stories are gearing up for the Christmas season here in the United States. I generally do not start thinking about Christmas until after Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is this coming Thursday. It just always feels like Thanksgiving get squeezed out a little with all the hype of Christmas coming after it.
Well great for you for getting your Christmas decoration put up, so early this year. I do not know if I will decorate this year or not. I have not decorated or for that matter done much for Christmas for about the last seven years.
Well, I could put up the artificial Christmas tree, but I tend to think the kitty will just knock it down. Every year, I tend to think about putting up the tree, but for one reason or another I choose not to decorate.
For me the holidays are always a tough time of the year. This year it seems like they will be tougher. I will probably just spend some extra time online perhaps on myLot. It is around the holidays that I miss taking college class because I have no homework to immerse myself into as I attempt to deny that it is the holiday season.

That is nice. Well, I think I pretty much decided not to decorate again this year. It has been about 8 years now since the last time I decorated for the holidays. Maybe, I will decorate next year.

We have also set up our Christmas tree already...about 5 days ago, I think. But we haven't decorated it yet. Too much to do, I guess. Will make the effort to spruce it up this afternoon or tonight. Wish me luck!

Decorations finished as of last week. But I, personally, will try to contain myself from opening my presents until Christmas Day. Ciao!

Yes it does seem rather early, but of course there is no specific date for putting up a Christmas tree. I have not yet seen any near my home, but I expect that it will not be very long before they begin to appear.
Christmas trees seem to work on a chain reaction system, as soon as one appears then everyone else decides to follow suit and they begin to appear rapidly. I suspect that now your tree is up there will be a lot more appearing during the coming week.

I am looking forward to putting up a tree but it will not be for a couple of weeks. I may even go buy a real one this year, or maybe not. It depends on how tired I am by the time Thanksgiving is here.

I will be putting mine up here pretty soon. I used to put up the tree and decorations in the last week before Christmas but I like to enjoy them and it always seems too early to take them down. I put them up little by little, a little every day and take them down the same way so I can put them away neatly.

I think it's fun to have a tree up and decorated. The only thing you can overdo it on are Christmas songs. Since there are only a few, if you start listening to them now, you (and your customers) might be sick of them by the beginning of December!

I see all the adverts on the television and there are some really nice things that they keep showing.I will not be able to get to the shops again this year, as health has got worse, but I do get to see what is being sold with all the leaflets that we keep getting.
We use to have our Christmas decorations up early, but this year I think we will leave it until a week before Christmas, as we tend to put them all away on Boxing day to make room for the children to play.
