Herbal for pregnant women: IS that Okay?

As i said I am almost 4 most pregnant and our oldies believes in herbal medicines, my Granny got many leaves and put it every night at my stomach so that the toxic will be release. She cook some unknown roots and leaves so that pregnancy will come easy...away from vomiting and fever or diarrhea.. huhuhu..i really don't want to drink for i think it is bad but many said herbal is good from nature. So what do you think ...?is that okay?
