Yesterday, i asked my brother to climb up the ripe papaya in our backyard then when he open it i just taste a bit and i don't like it. Then, I made him buy avocado and then when i taste it, though i want it but i don't like it. I really don't understand myself. I really want to eat them but my taste buds taste sour for them. Not to mention I am a pregnant now. I really think I am developing an eating disorder, what you think isn't it normal?

Pregnant woman do eat what their body is asking for (if there is a lack of something) but also they can look for food to eat because to get rid of a kind of "taste" in the mouth (I had that during the whole pregnancy). Also they can have in their mind how something should taste and need that food/taste but if they eat it, it does taste completely different. If you like it or not it's normal. It's also normal that many don't like meat, fish or cooked food anymore or can't stand the taste or smell of certain kinds of food or drinks. If you are pregnant you taste and smell is way better as when you are not, which causes these "disorders". But actually it's not a disorder at all.

yeah, i've been like that. it very normal. when my pregnancy is 3 month i get sick. i want to trow up when i see a food around me. but when my pregnancy is 6 month. i like to eat. i want to try many food and fruit that i can see around me. but like you, i also get soar taste when it came to my tongue. but my mother advice me not to let the hormone take control of me. because women pregnant need a lot of nutritional food. specially my doctor advice me to always change my menu to help get various nutritional.to ensure that i get nutritional food. my doctor give me some vitamin.

is it eating disorder, or hormonal change? Consult a doctor you need to eat for the baby's development.

When i was pregnant before, i don't really demand any extra and different food. I am still able to eat my usual food. Only certain food I stop eating. I do like to eat more sour food compare to usual time. I feel eating sour food can makes me eat a lot.

It is normal for pregnant women to have that kind of behavior. The first trimester is really a lot changes and preferences, the hormones made you feel like that. Good day!

It's normal for pregnant women. I experience the same thing when I was pregnant. My husband get mad when I want something to eat in the middle of the night. Now I'm done and already give birth to my child, it's funny thinking it back when my in-laws are telling me how funny I act those times I didn't get what I want.

what`s your experiencing is actually a normal thing for a pregnant woman..it`s not really an eating disorder.. eventually this will past maybe in your 2nd trimester of your pregnancy.. by that time all you want to do is eat eat and eat.. but some though until their 3rd trimester still had a discomfort in eating.. so good luck in your pregnancy and enjoy..
