It was the 2nd year death anniversary of my bf. I went to school that morning and the lady guard was so shocked seeing me entering the gate. She said, "Did you just went out", I couldn't understand what she meant so I asked her "no, why? I just came in". She insisted "No, Miss you came in earlier." and showed me the log book on the time that she showed me arrived. I told her. "no I just came in and in fact I am in hurry, because I need to attend the mass but I came in late". She insisted again, "no miss, I saw you came in, that's why I put your name in the log book". I told her, "did i smile at you or greeted you goodmorning as I used to do" She said, "no, Miss, you look like in a hurry". Ohh no that was not me.. the guard said, "no it's you miss, promise i am not lying" that creeps me then because in my mind I really want to go to school earlier to attend to the mass for my bf. but something came up and I was not able to go to school as what I have in mind. then I remember the "doppleganger"... A ghoshtly counterpart of a living person or a ghostly double of the person, according. to http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/doopleganger. Now do you think the lady guard saw my doppleganger? Was it a supernatural or just a coincidence? does the doppleganger played with me because it was my ultimate desire to go to school early? What can you say about this?

Hi Mavic, that is very strange indeed. You wanted very much to go early but couldn't. Maybe your doppelganger went for you? Weird things happen all the time that no one can really explain. nice to see you again ... hello deazil, yes, he went for in my behalf, but no one saw me attended the mass or no one told me that they saw me in the mass. thanks for that site i will check on it. It happened by the last year, August. they say that when i see my doppelganger, i will die. well old people were saying. but it creeps me big time. whoooo until now.

Unfortunately, I'm not getting all my notifications.
So I have to go through my friends list to see any new discussions by them. So if this happened a year ago then I take it that nothing happened on his anniversary this past August? Reading about doppelgangers is very interesting. And creepy. Whether I would die or not, I still don't want to see one!

I should thank you for appreciating my topic. I didn't know this August. I moved here in Thailand already. I hope nothing happened of the same kind this year. Yes it is quite scary and interesting. do you like have doppelganger?

@Mavic123456 I first just want to say that I am so sorry you experienced that loss. Very sad! 
My thoughts on this is that someone went by who did have similar characteristics as you and the guard was mistaken. Like she said, "You look like in a hurry" which means whoever went by was moving fast. It can be easy to mistake people when moving fast.
It is a very interesting story. My mind is just thinking it was an innocent mistake....Unless you really do have twin out there!

well, that lady guard, can either see supernatural or she loves making stories. She also one of the teachers about this (not the same time, not the same month). So that I really thought, but during those days, my senses are down and I was broken hearted, so sad, in despair.

It might be but I do not know what the intention of your double by going there earlier? To attend the mass in your behalf? I guess your doppleganger is so generous in doing that.
Or is it your guardian angel that went there to represent you and came in in your own form. There are many theories that can be concluded on that one. I guess it would be more creepier if somebody also saw you in the church that would confirm what the guard saw.

Yes, though I did not ask the people if they saw me attended the mass. Actually I just told this to my sisters and some of my friends but not with my collegues I don't want them to be scared. I just didn't know if the guard did. but I like that the guardian angel that you have shared. could be..

That is really strange experience. I never come across situation like this but I do heard member experience same case as yours. I don't have any idea about doppleganger but I believe such strange and weird things like this could happen cause in our world, we are not alone. There are other species that live around us but we can't see them. It could be done by these species. I see it more to spiritual case. But it doesn't effect much on our daily activity.

Yes, what strange is, I really can't understand if this thing lives in school. He has been doppleganger people in school, quite playful but scary. You know when they say old school some "unknown' spirits live there. Not at all it is just scary if you happen to know that you were one of his favorites to imitate.

Oh, that's really creepy. I guess in my husband's family home, dopplegangers exist. Each of us had an encounter. They imitate you. You won't notice until you see the real person. I experienced it once but I didn't consider it real. LOL. I really needed to pee but I saw my sister-in-law's hubby entered the toilet. It was taking him so long that I sent my husband to see if he's still there. I didn't take my eyes off to the passage so I'm sure he didn't go out yet. My husband told me that no one is in there.

wow.. such giving me a goose bumps. but it was so real, it happened to me. so I read about what this supernatural thing. I found out that it does exist.

This has happened to me many times and I found out there is a lady living down the street from me that looks a lot like me, same hair do, same type of clothes, even drives the same kind of car! I had a lady that worked at a store yelling at me one day, telling me that when I was there earlier I was really rude to her, she said I can go home and change clothes, she will still know me. I was never there that day and I never was rude to her. She apologized and said she would go look at the tapes of the customers because she was sure it was me! 
I never underestimate the powers of things we don't know and you very well could have a doppelganger. Even if you only have a look alike, there was a reason you were not supposed to be there that day.
I would ask the lady guard if you can give her some kind of hand signal when it is you, so she knows it is you for sure. If you don't give the signal, she needs to ask for ID!
I would think that you would know if you were already there or not, no matter what the guard said!

so your doppleganger talked. well, was it you in video? It is my normal routine that I greet the guards good morning as i come in the school, no matter what my mood is. Traffic, I would tell them.. "Good morning, whew.. such a traffic day today, I am tired already" and we will all laugh at my remarks. But my other me, really passed so quick. the guards thought i was in a hurry.

hhmm.. i did not sleep walk. It was not really me. Doppleganger or Dean and Sam Winchester of Supernatural series. call it as "Shapeshifter" who imitates a person. not soul travelling and neither apparition, :D. It could be that your mind just messed with you. Sometimes our mind will see what we expect to see, that's the reason why some people see mirages. I don't believe in dopplegangers. I'll only believe it if I see one.

sounds strange to me. i am trying to get round the idea of a guard who just writes the names of everyone who comes into the school as she sees them, as that's not a system i am familiar with, so its hard to quite understand that process.
but presumably if the guard logs everyone who comes in she must know everyone who goes to the school, so she couldn't have mistaken you for someone else. could she?
so maybe that you so wanted to be there earlier than you actually were made you appear, like you said, as a doppelganger.
it could be that the guard just has the ability to see ghosts or supernatural things, because not everybody does. some people are more gifted in this area than others, so maybe the guard has the ability to see your spirit wanting to be there, when someone else wouldn't.
interesting story, i love stories like this, but i don't think i have the ability to see ghosts myself.

Yes, she was not joking in fact, she logged me at 7:06 am when I arrived actually arrived at 7:16. she showed it to me, though she thought I did not give them a hi or good morning remarks. She said I was in a hurry because i walked really fast. So scary and the thing is old people say, I see my doppelganger, I will die that day. WEll i did not see my double so I am still alive now.

I don't know if that's super-natural or what but I experienced that with my office mate way back 2008 when I went to restroom shes still in her table, I even ask her to double check my report. On my way to the rest room I met her along the way shes on her way back to our office, I ask her where did you pass through coz I wonder we only have 1 way to the rest room and there's no other way she could get through without me noticing her but she didn't answered she just walk straight. Then I ask her if she went to the rest room and she swear shes not been in the rest room while I'm gone. So now, i am thinking about the doopleganger maybe it's true. Creepy!

Creepy to the max. and make us really think if it's true until it happens to us. When i heard about it happened to my co worker I thought they must be joking or just scaring people around but when it happened to me and when i saw the truth from the guards eyes that she's not making story, whew.. it scares me big time.

God! that gives me a chill! o.O I've heard about this doppelganger thing, some kind of a ghost or spirit that play with people by copying someone they know. Well, if it's morning when that incident happen then I don't think that's possible. I think doppelganger only show up at night when there's no much people around. _

that's even more scary thing. I have learned that something happened also with my co teacher and it was night. Now, that scares me a bit here. Do you have any idea if it is not doppelganger what could it be?
