I am not a soft drinks person and I never drink those at all. I know it is not good for health and there has been a lot of allegations happening about it all the time from my childhood. so i have stopped drinking them altogether. Now that I have left drinking it for years, I feel like puking sometimes when there is strong gas in the drink.

Since last year, I am no longer a fan of sodas! :)
But occasionally yeah.. My intake is 1-2 bottles (12oz) monthly..
Even if I'm at food chains, I'd rather have water than soft drinks.. :) I find them too sweet lately.. =D
But I know someone from our office who treats "coke" as water! :)) lol
Her daily intake is 1 liter.. I really wish there's nothing wrong with her condition especially when she gets older.. She's hard headed that even if a lot of people warns her, should wouldn't listen at all ..

I have heard of people saying its bad just as some say burger is bad . I think just dont over do anything . Like everything else that is said to be bad for us should be consume in moderate amount .

They are not good for the health, that's true. But I don't think one can't drink a soft drink like once a week or once in two weeks. Life would be so boring without them :D. I mean, I like having some diversity in my drinks, I really get bored by the same tastes... and water is boring for me, and I don't like it, only during a workout. So, you could drink those, but with measure. Or buy flavored mineral water instead - it has a taste, but it's a lot healthier.

yes, excessive consumption of softdrinks is bad for the health. too much sugar to it and also acid. this acid may caused urinary tract infection and too much sugar will caused you to become a diabetic person. before in one litter bottle of softdrinks, my partner would have one glass only and the rest were all mine. thus made me so fat and full of love handles in my body. so i decided to minimize drinking it. I used to drink softdrinks every lunchtime. But now, I rarely do. Only when I have no choice or a clean drinking water is out of the question whenever we're in some place or during travels. Aside from getting unwanted calories, it also caused me UTI and even bad cramps.

I drink more sodas than fruit juices. I know it is unhealthy but my tummy tolerates the soda more. But I try to lessen my intake coz I don't want to get sick. But it is almost impossible to avoid it if I am eating fried food.

I doubt you are the only one since the soft drink industry is doing well. I never buy it with my weekly shoppings. The only times my kids might get it is on a birthday (but even then it's rare) or during a holiday (restaurant or so). We mostly drink water or (green) tea. So do my youngest. Sometimes I buy some juice (years ago only orange juice now also multi vitamins, vegetable juice is rare). I buy less juice because most of the time there is a lot of sugar added to it as well and it's not that healthy as said if it comes to vitamins. Eating fresh fruit and vegetables is.

According to medical science, drinking cold water after a meal will solidify the oily stuff that is consumed. Prevention is better than cure, that's the advice that parents often reminded us. but sometimes we fail and often violated. Patterns of food and beverages that we consume every day greatly affect our health, fast food and cold drinks are one of the poor contribute to health
Habits of cold drink after a meal will narrow our intestinal tract. It is nice, drinking cold water after meals, such as: Cola cold, cold sweet tea, ice cream or other cold syrup, but remember. It can be fatal. Cold conditions will solidify the oily stuff that you have just eaten. If fats are formed in the intestine, it will narrow down the digestive tract, and over time will cause fat to gather so we are getting fatter or heading toward the emergence of a variety of diseases
Get used to drinking water, hot tea or otherwise. Of course with a decent hot to drink. -Reduce the habit of drinking a nice cold drink that has been cooled in a refrigerator or ice blended. Cold drinks can cause wrinkle channels blood from large to small as the diameter of our hair.
