How would you feel if your family member goes in jail on festival day.

Yesterday the big festival of India is Diwali and day before yesterday in our neighbors son goes in jail. Police caught total 9 persons because they not paid the tax or mud(Rati)and stole the cable. Now 3 days gone and no bail received him and I notice no family members are came out of home.
Our town is small so spread these even in whole town by one mouth to another. Everybody talking about his son because they are belong in our community. Mostly our community members are handle the family business. His big brother is nice person and do hard work but younger brother always do such wrong work. I feel bad because on festival day even a single members is not in home means dont like to celebrate the festival.

Yes law not consider any festival but feel bad if any family member going in jail on festival day.

sureka, sad to hear about this. Hope he will return from the jail soon with the help of his brother. It is really hard to face this kind of situation in our life and the family members stage is really miserable, as you mentioned the news spread over quickly and every one is talking about that person, it will give more pain to his mother

Yes he should return because no one is happy in home no single member is going out of home his elder brother is nice and hard worker. But younger brother has some wrong habit like playing card, stolen etc.

Definitely very sad if someone you know goes to jail, and that too at festival time. Though if I knew him I would feel sorry for his family not for him. Some people have weird ideas of fun and their families suffer for their nonesense acts.

Yes you are right family suffer due to their child wrong activity. Today complete 5 days but still no bail for him. I pray he should get the bail.

I am talking about my Jijaji, his name is Motilal Saraf, there is another man here his name is Motiram Saraf; this later man is gambler, once on Diwali he was caught by police; but there he said his name was Motilal Saraf, even he gave fathers name wrong, i mean my Jijaji's father name.
.
So police filed court case, Jijaji was arrested 7 days later.
I felt so sad; the DIG was my friend, I told him the real thing, later Motiram was arrested; proof was his handwriting in the signature

Ohhh God really feel bad when anyone arrested on the festival day. Why the person wants to earn money from illegal way.

It is hard to celebrate when you know that a family member is behind bars. I think it is much better to think of ways on how they could help him and be able to come home than to put up a front of being in unity with the rest for the celebration.

Yes you are right very hard to celebrate any occasion if our family members are not with us. Even a single members is not in home means feel sad.

Obviously don't like it. Its so sad to hear that,your neighbor got arrested. He may be young and with some bad company of friends. But his family members should help him to come out of this i feel. He should be taught a lesson to never to indulge in such activities.

You are absolutely right his friends are not good and he resides in bad company of friends. I dont understand why stolen the thing is needs him. Everything is available in his house.

That's really sad for the parent. Usually parent wants to have all the family member stay together to celebrate big day like deepavali. It's a big day for hindu's. I think the enforcement body should consider to wait after the festival to catch him. Give him a chance to celebrate this big day. It's not a big crime till it can disturb other people and the wrong doing is not that big till he was stop to celebrate a big day.

You are right sad for parent if their child goes in jail on any day not only festival day then cant trust on this event. You are right this is not big crime but stolen is also not good habit and police notice this so catch him.

It is very sad when a family member goes to jail on any day, but on a holiday is even sadder. however, if he had gone by the law he would not have gone to jail on any day. I am sure the family is having a very rough time with it - especially since it was on a festival day.

Sorry to hear that this happened during the festival.
I think no one can celebrate a happy festival while member is in jail.
Too bad that your neighbor's son is in jail at this moment.
I feel sorry for the whole family and the humiliation it brings to the whole members.

what is this? mylot members --family people are all good people. nobody going to jail. you can change it as neighbor's son. yes. i will feel bad. it may be festival day or any day-somebody going to jail means it is bad--they stole the cable or cable net connection they took without paying?

You are right uncle not feel good even the person is not our family member but if anybody goes in jail on festival or other day not feeling good. I dont know properly what happened but my FIL was saying us yesterday Mahesh is in jail the Son of Panpaliya family and also told why he needs to do the stolen activity all are assailable in his house. All family members are good other than this boy. Always involved in wrong activity.

I guess they have a family problem that they need to resolve. If one breaks a rule , it can never be bend it's because there such a big celebration . He has to pay for it just so sad for he didn't give honor to Diwali . He should have live the spirit of Diwali for sure he won't be in jail . The law is hard but that is the law.
