Carpet or hardwood

Do you prefer carpet or hardwood for your place. I like a combination of both. I definitely need hardwood in the kitchen. I definitely need carpet in the bedroom. What do you think?

Definitely carpet will give a luxurious look to our home. But it is difficult to maintain . But you can try out , hand knotted rugs to give out such a look...Moving a rug is very simple. So my vote goes for a hardwood floor with a rug.

I have hardwood in my kitchen, toilet and bathroom. I have laminate flooring in my living room. Carpet on the stairs and in my 2 hallways, I have carpet in my 3 bedrooms. I like a mixture depending on where it is in the house.
