Hi. I had seen many new mylotters post silly questions here. They post like how much I get paid for post, what is the minimum payout, can i put referral links in my post, etc. Some members who had posted around 50 discussions ask the thing. I don't know why they don't read FAQ and Do's and Don't of mylot. I think person like this who ask silly questions like this never know about mylot when they had signed up. They just signup thinking of money. So what you think of this? Cheers.

Maybe you are right. Or maybe they are out of ideas. Which goes back to your theory of them only thinking about money.

I tend to agree with you shaqziad, quite a few of these discussions will have been created solely for the purpose of receiving responses and not because the poster required the information. The problem is that it is virtually impossible to differentiate between those who genuinely require information and the false posts designed to acquire easy responses.

Hi. Yes there are people who do this intentionally. But you can post other things here. You are not out of topic and if you are don't post on discussion and you can browse on mylot and comment on discussions. This silly question is really not good for members who post this. Cheers.

Dear Asylum, *hight-five* It is true that it is not an easy task to differentiate a person genuinely seeking for information and a person who fake that. I hope that some regulars here might know how to identify that faker, and share how to do it. Dear swats89, Some people just don't care if they bring anything to the world as long as they gain the most.

tyhm no they are sillyu because you w ere supposed to use the links my lot gave you when you signed up. what stops you from reading the guidelines as all the questions you ask of us have already been answered there if yo u can read our response you can jolly well read the information in the guidelines and the FAQ's too.that is what my lot asks all of us to do when we sign up so why do you just blow that Off? look information got from my lotters specially those who are new themselves will be wrong or misleading., the information you read in the g idelines is true informations.

I have seen quite a lot of posts of that nature so obviously I appreciate what you mean. Nevertheless, I have mixed emotions on this, which is dependant upon the reason behind the discussion. Some members simply ask the most petty questions either to save them selves the trouble of reading the guidelines or as an easy way to acquire responses, in which case I agree with you entirely that this is wrong. On the other hand there will be members who have checked through the guidelines and are still rather unsure about some points, in which case I feel that we should offer whatever help and advice we can.

Hi. We are like family here so we help each other best. I also post my reply on such discussions. But for sake of earning money here, this kind of question is not good. Before joining any site we do some research to know if it is legit or scam. So we go through some website to acquire information. So we obviously know what's the minimum payout of a site. But regarding guidelines we should all read it first but people forget it. Cheers.

I quite agree, reading the guidelines should be the first priority if you register with a site.

Most I think are the beginner here in Mylot. We couldn't blame them all they want is to earn money. They think that Mylot is fast earning site. When they always participating here they will know how to increase their earnings here.

You know that you can earn money but don't know how. First one should answer the question how you can make money which most of the newbies miss intentionally. So those kind of people left mylot easily after getting frustrated. Cheers.

I am raising my hand now. Guilty. Guilty and Guilty. and yes I don't read FAQ in all sites I visited, I just check if I have a problem. Sometimes, it is easier to ask questions that to search and look for the answers, since there are so many helpful seniors very willing to guide newbies like me. I am Guilty, I just depend on seniors to help me out. But on the hand, I really can't understand some guidelines, honestly, like the questions looks like a poll but really not a poll but just getting some information on people's view on some issues in life or concerns globally. LOL. I dont know really ... Cheers.

Hahaha it's good you confesed here. But on serious note whenever I visit any website I first look at the FAQ section. 90% of your answer could be found there. Other 10% you can do some research on internet and gain knowledge of that site. You have to be dependable on yourself to do some research. Don't depend 100% on seniors. Also polls like question is like when you have to compare or getting opinions about two site. For example if you ask "Which is better mylot or postloop"? This kind of question is poll type question. But if you ask something like I had joined mylot and its working good for me. I want to know about postloop. Can you help me out. In this way you are getting your answer without your post being deleted. Cheers.

swat, Again Guilty, hehehe i am too excited to go the site once I open it and try all tabs there. reading FAQ is just a waste of time for me (of course that's my belief LOL) but then I have learned my lessons of course, thanks for that tip now i know the difference between the poll and legitimate discussion. whew... a lesson learned in a more hassle way. LOL 3honor, It is not that the statements are hard, of course I can comprehend the statements the problem is the statements are too vague. or maybe I just really don't well. It all goes to ME NOT READING first. Thanks for the tips about poll friends.

Hi. Admin had made all the guidelines to make people learn about this site. As you said if we follow rules here we can earn money here. But people like to break the rule. So they would eventually get banned from here. I had made some good friends here and I always said money is secondary thing for me. I also sometime unknowingly post in the discussion which I thought that the discussion was legit. But when it gets deleted we know that we had made mistake. So sometimes it's difficult to distinguish. When you follow rules here you make money here. One other thing What happened to your English, haha . Cheers.

i never read FAQ or another else about mylot but i would never ask about those silly questions i think..lol.. i think you are right that most people come here just for money. some if them have limited English but they are got info from friend that this site will pay if we write something in English. then they ignore its role play. that is why they never pay attention to the rule. all they do is writing and being paid. frankly speaking i came here some years ago also because of money but i learned fast to understand how this site works. and it hindered me from asking silly questions. now my motivation is not only money but also to practice my English. English is not my first language so i need a media to practice it so it wont fade away..

Hi. English is also not my first language too. But mylot had improved my English. You have to read FAQ before joining any site. You will know if you can join site and would it be beneficial for you. Without reading faq and you joined site and you know that the site is not opened for you country. So to know about any site read faq. Most people here on mylot don't read rules and they say that mylot haven't paid them or banned them. Cheers.

I have noticed that too. But I try to give them a warm welcome and also by telling them what they really need to know before posting more discussions. I guess, not all have really read the FAQs before posting more discussions maybe because they think that they can earn from posting or that they are just too lazy to check out the guidelines. But I don't remember posting the same questions here when I was new.

Hi. There is saying in English "Laziness is home of Devil". If you don't have time to read FAQ then it's better not to post here. It's good that you direct them to FAQ section. That's a good thing you are doing. Cheers.

Hi. If my friend tell me to join website I would first make research about that website. I would visit faq section to know more about this site. After I am satisfied I would join. If person haven't told you about site then your duty is to read faq. Cheers.

Hello I think silly questions like this will just be wiped off when it comes to mylot sorting out what deserves there money,so when people try to make quick money buy cheating they do not realize that it will blow up in there face and that they have basically been doing it for nothing. I do not think people like this last very long on mylot.

Hi. Asking silly questions is not breaking of rule. But if you join a site you have to know abc of that site. You can do it by visiting faq or guideline section. People who followed rule here are on mylot for more then 3 years. Cheers.

Well, I am new here. But I made sure to read the FAQs. I know I dont know everything as yet but I think it is more of a learning process. I think such questions should be banned on mylot with the reason stated as 'Read the FAQ'.

Nice suggestion. It's good to know that you had visited and take note of FAQ section. I know it would take time for you to know why your response or comment have been deleted. But from experience you would learn here. Cheers.

It's pure laziness on their part. Most of these questions concerning myLot are clearly explained in the guidelines if they had just bothered to read them. What puzzles me more is that some members would even explain it to them. I know they meant well, but I think it would be better if we just direct them to the guidelines instead.

Yes laziness can be the one of the reason. whenever I reply to such question I finish my post saying read mylot guidelines. But that's of no use as they never read it too. Cheers.

I tend to agree with you! I have seen some silly questions posted by newbies. The odd part was that if I recall I thought that once you finish adding your interests that you are directed to the myLot tab. I could be mistaken as it has been about three years now since I joined the myLot site. I would add to your list of silly things that newbies do is that they post tons of discussions that are all similar. It is like they want to know about myLot so they post five discussions each asking a separate question about the site when in truth they could have posted all five of their questions under the same discussion. I mean it just seems ridiculous and in my opinion clutters up the site to make all these discussions. The worst part I think is that we tend to keep repeating things over and over for the newbies. For some, it seems no matter how many times we say it they just still do not get it. Also, they seem to have no clue that they can actually search for the answer to their question. They seem to not even know how to use the search bar (sorry for being so blunt). If they did, they would find the previous discussions where we have all said exactly how to make money on myLot is by participating. Truthfully, I do not see that posting a single one line question that any member here could answer in about two seconds really qualifies for posting a discussion. I have been surprised that myLot has not deleted more of these discussions. I tend to not post much on these newbies discussion because I never know if they will be deleted or not. It generally goes along the lines of directing them to the myLot tab to actually read the myLot guidelines. I am just going to ask the question. Is reading becoming a lost skill here in the 21st Century. I am serious when I say this because I feel like so many newbies feel like this site is all about earning. They post, post, post, till they are blue in the face. Some of them seem as though they rarely read a word of what is on myLot. Sometimes people just post discussion, and they never post a comment back to the people that respond. Seriously, do they just choose not to read the responses they got on their discussion question. It is like they think that it is an article posting site where you type something, and you leave it. Well, myLot is not like that at all. It is an interactive site. You are meant to read and interact with people on the discussions.

You are correct and I do agree with you, if such question any new members here asked it we can understand their problems, but when old members asked such question then? Whenever any members join this site they must read the FAQ plus Do's & Don't of Mylot which will surely help them to solve their problems, if any they have in regards to earning on this site.

I think that is also one of the reasons why I was not able to encounter the veterans during my first days in myLot. Because I don't ask any question even though the truth, there are times that I really don't know what to do, he he. What I do is I search my question and presto! The discussions with the same questions appeared. Those members whom I reffered would usually send me a pm in order to know something they don't know but they don't started a discussion out of it. Have a nice day!

Sometimes people are lazy to read that guidelines and prefers to ask the members because members explains it in layman's term , so it's easy to understand. Some FAQ also are not easy to understand , so different views from members can enlighten another Mylotter. For me silly questions are better than a very personal private question. Good day !
