Today we speak about high thinking. If we aim high, we can reach atleast something above marginal, but if we aim low we may achieve below marginal expectation. Hope is a pillar which we consider it as a support to achieve something. Shakespeare has spoken many a times on Hope. In Richard II, Vol2.23-24 he says that hope is swift, it flies high with a swallow's wings.
We can say that the people who are enamored or fallen in love have so many hopes to which they lean on and hope becomes their driving force, hope has been defined as a supporting stick as the staff is to the shepherd.
Many a times we battle against dispair and hope to win at last. I have some colleagues, I wonder about their perseverance for they had not been paid a single cent because their job had not been approved by the government, they continued to work for all these years without salary with a firm hope that one day they would win and get the salary in bulk of all the years they put in service and they did achieve.
Everybody's life has been nourished by the hope to realize their dreams one day. The one who hopes for something is ever alert and yet day dreams.
We distinguish people as pessimistic and optimistic. Today all advise us by stimulating us to be optimistic if we want to achieve success. The positive thoughts and the positive hopes are a key to success they say. Once people believed to make huge money by restless hard work and invest the means with great struggle. But today we come accross the modern ideology of making big money with least effort.
What are our hopes? In these years our safety is questionable for may have predicted of the great disasters those would erase the humanity. What do we hope for as we tend to celebrate Christmas and end the current year?
Whatever may befall upon us, it will happen when we least expect. There is no point in being dispair. We hope for better and program our life positively

good talk, srjac. no one hopes for the worst, although the worst comes our way once in a while. hope is like a candle in the dark. it cannot show true light, but at least, you can see something with it. i take hope as a little link to the real thing. without hope, you're going nowhere in life.
