Another weekend has passed but this time I was visiting one friend and spent night there with my brother. We wen't to bowling and swimming and watched movies later. So now is Sunday night and I feel so depressed now. I searched some web and found out that why am I depressed. It was something like that in weekend my brain produces more dopamine because I'm with my friends and I feel happy. But when I come back to home it stops making it and I feel depressed for a while before it start making it again. Anyway, If anyone has had this kind of feelings I would really like to here some solutions to make me feel better without this depression. Or is this something that I just have to deal with?

It sounds as though you started feeling low when you were alone again. Getting out and spending time with people or inviting someone over may be a good mood booster for you. Or, you could attempt to distract your mind by focusing on a task that needs to be done such as work, housework, or exercise. I personally find that exercise is an effective anti-depressant for me. You could also distract your mind with a movie, book, or tv show that you find funny or uplifting. Depression is not something you should "just have to deal with," in fact, if this is happening regularly, then it might be a cause for some concern. Some people use the word depression interchangeably with a low mood, but depression is also a mental illness that often requires medical intervention. If it feels like nothing is working, don't try to stick it out, get help.

Thanks. Maybe movie or something like that would be good because at least at the moment I don't really feel like doing much. Maybe I could put this to puberty too...

It's possible. Puberty messes with the emotions. So do menstrual cycles, but I doubt you have a problem with that one. Personally, when I'm trying to distract myself with a movie... I pick the happiest movies I possibly can, usually children's films. Sometimes I've made the mistake of just picking any movie and winding up even more low when the movie was over.

I hardly think that the weekend ending is enough to count as depressing. Depression is a serious mental disorder and not a feeling of regret beause the fun times are over.... Deal with it
