My favorite places that I have been to are Sydney, Cape Town and Vancouver city wise. My favorite countries are Samoa, Australia, New Zealand, Belize and the Seychelles.
I visited Sydney when I was aged 20 years old in 1993. Wow was my first thought as the plane flew past the opera house and the harbor bridge. I love Australia and Sydney always going to be my favorite place in the world. I didn't manage to visit Cape Town until 2009 when I was aged 37 years old. It became my second favorite city. I visited Vancouver the year after that 2010 and I had my 38th birthday there. It became my third favorite city. They are all far away places which are pricey to get back to.
I got a good deal on a return flight to New Zealand in 2001 and in 2002 on my way back home I visited Samoa and totally fell in love with it. That was so strange since Australia used to be my favorite country. Australia is my second favorite country now that Samoa has become my top favorite. I visited New Zealand on the same trip as Samoa and it is lovely. So it became my third favorite city. I visited the Seychelles in 2004 and adored it there. I visited Belize in 2006 and loved it even more than the Seychelles.
It is likely that I will visit Australia again but the other countries it seems unlikely.
How about you?

That is wonderful that you have been to all those beautiful places. For me it's always a struggle trying to figure out how I will be able to travel. I would love to see so many different places but the issue of money to get there always comes up . My first goal is to try to go to Hawaii because at least that is in the US and so it would be cheaper than a lot of other places. If I were to get another job then (to save for trips) then there would be the issue of being able to take off work to travel. I hope that I will be able to figure out a way to travel because I think traveling would be absolutely amazing. I have heard that Belize is very pretty.

Belize is the ideal place to visit from the USA. I loved visiting it to see the Mayan ruins, the beautiful beaches and the fine snorkeling I found ever so enjoyable. I flew to Hawaii from California on my way to Australia. I found it pretty but rather expensive.
In a full time permanent teaching contract the school holidays are great for travel plans. I hope that you will get enough time off work to visit Hawaii. It is possible to save for traveling when budgeting carefully. Good luck.

Yeah I heard other people say that Hawaii expensive. That getting food, etc is very costly. Was Belize reasonably priced? I will have to check and see how much it would cost to travel there. I will definitely have to start budgeting carefully so that we can travel in the future.

I don't dream to many chunks at one time, I am having it one at a time. I have desired to go out of my country and I did it. I was able to, thrice at different countries. Our passport couldn't take us anywhere but Asian Countries, too. Now, I am planning to go to Turkey, I just like to see the old and ancient architecture there.

Your dreaming is sensible and many Asian countries are lovely to visit. I feel that Singapore is the ideal place for a person's first trip to Asia. I hope that you will be able to visit beautiful Turkey and I know it is a superb destination. Istanbul is a magical and special looking place and Turkey has some gorgeous looking beaches.

My favorite place was Finland, the state of the rockstar. Some say, if we throw any stones in Finland will be the head of a Rockstar. Beautiful country, with the world's highest happiness index. The country also has the highest competitiveness in the world. So, I really want to go there, I hope someday to get there, to realize my dream. Or maybe stay there a while

I have been to Italy a few times and really enjoyed it and I know I will go back there again. I haven't got many travel plans for 2013, so far I have a trip planed for next month which I am greatly looking forward to and if I get the chance, I will go away for a break in April/May although that all depends on lots of factors.
I hope you have many more years travelling!

I am so happy and excited right now as I am leaving to Singapore tomorrow.
From there I will be joining my ex-colleagues and my previous company staff
to China for holiday. I heard the places I am going is very scenic and full
of natural beauty with fantastic view of mountains and lakes. As for the most
attractive places that I like, Sydney Harbour is captivating, and view of London
city by sunset on the 'London Eye' Ferris wheel. It was awesome!

I do not have any favorite places because I was not able to travel for many years and now that i can travel some, I love everywhere I go. It is very unlikely that i will be able to see all the places that I would love to get to because of my age which is 67.
I have a little money saved but it could go fast if I do not travel on a budget. Money, time and my age limits my adventures. I want to go everywhere but it is unlikely that I will get to see even half of the places that I want to. I just do not have that many years left.

I always admire your travelling spirit and enjoy hearing about where you have been, I have never been past Europe to be honest, mind you it did take me 26 years to summon up the courage to actually get on a plane. I don't have many real favourite places I have been to, Rhodes was a one off, I found it too hot even in September and Cyprus too I have seen it inside out. I guess the only favourite place that I would go to again is Amsterdam but with Amsterdam I don't have to fly I can use the Channel Tunnel and go by train, providing I have the time to spare. I would love to travel to Sweden one day but that is more of a dream than an intention at the moment.

I wish I could go back to some of the countries that I have visited, Maxine, but it gets more difficult as time goes by. I wish I could go to the south of Spain again and I would gladly visit yet another time awesome Ciudad de Mexico. But I cannot go alone there and it`s difficult to find someone with the interest, the money and the time to go with me.

Yes, totally agree with you! We just fell in love with some city and country
when we visit them. They are so beautiful in scenery and culture. Some of the
places that we visited was so captivating that we tell ourselves that we will
come back again. Shanghai City and Prague have stole our hearts .
Where is Belize? I believe it must be very beautiful that you put it as your
favorite. Is it the scenery and natural beauty?

If I have to rate it in a scale from 1-10, where ten is the highest and 1 is the lowest. I might rate 3 for some this year and actually zero for the others.
Aside from going to several tourist place here the Philippines, I would love to visit Baff again in Alberta Canada, would love to go Beijing to see the "great wall of China", go to Hongkong for "disney land", to London, Greece, Israel for "Jerusalem" and America for "Chicago".
See... those places are zero rate... not even in my wildest dream this time.
