Psalm 115:16 says, "The heavens are the heavens of the LORD, But the earth He has given to the sons of men." - The earth, He has given to mankind! Do you think He made a mistake? Do you think He had other options?

The earth is given to mankind. Yeah, it is true. God's original purpose why He created the earth is to make it a home for the people. This is the reason why he prepared first the earth, creating it to become a perfect place to live in for his human creations. He even ordered the first man and woman to have children and fill the earth with their offspring. And though his original purpose for human to live forever in an earthly paradise is somehow delayed,(because it isn't paradise were living now) but it is not changed. If you'll study the Bible, you will learn how God maneuvers the events so that His original purpose will be realized. And very soon, through his heavenly Kingdom, God will put an end to all the sufferings and restore peace on earth. God never fails. Very soon, he will restore the human race, the way he meant it to be.

God created the earth for man to live on, grow and learn. In the resurrection, the earth will be made into a heaven and man will continue to live on it. It is our destined place to habitat.

HaShem did not make a mistake in giving the earth to mankind. The epitome of knowledge cannot make a mistake. The fraility of the human however, can make mistakes. We do continue to make mistakes as we go through history. We do also make improvements along the way. We just need to get the "good and thoughtful" people to intervene more often. Hopefully, as we continue to progress as a people we will make more improvements, and the people of the earth will live in peace and comfort.

yes the earth is precious one and we should save it, but people are not really concerned about it. we are cutting down all the trees as a result lot of climatic changes ,global warming. I don't think we are giving any respect to God for he created the beautiful world. Instead we are making a lot unnecessary things to spoil the nature.

Of course He had other options and the amazing thing is that he opted to create us and place us in this wonderful world. If people took this Psalm seriously they would take better care of the world. Perhaps too they would give our world more attention and seek to make it the paradise it was intended to be. I do not agree with sending rockets to the moon or mars or anywhere else. We should be content with what we have and make the most of it. Instead mankind seems bent on spoiling their world, but we cannot blame that on God or think He made a mistake.

The Lord never made mistakes. He made the earth for His glory and shared it to man but man rebelled against Him. But God will soon redeem the glory of the earth He created at the return of Christ for His own glory.

No I don't think he made a mistake, just time will tell how it all pans out for we all know he is the only ones who knows how it will end. We are just here living life, the best we know how until the one great day when all will be opened to our eyes, and understanding.

I believe, It is rather man that made the mistake. Why he insists on going to heaven when it is God's purpose that man should stay on earth. And for that, Psalms 115:16 is very true. All the best.

G-d created a beautiful paradise for us to live in and because of greed we have almost destroyed the place. We want the ground to produce an abundant crop so that we have more money. We do not allow the ground to rest as H- commanded in H-s 'instruction manual'. We introduce chemicals into the ground which poisons the food that is produced from this ground. I strongly support the organic food movement and wish that I had my own plot of land to grow my own food. I don't think that the funds that are spent on space exploration are well spent. Think of what could be done with that much money. Leave the heavens to the L-rd! G-d didn't make a mistake in the gift H- gave us...we made the mistake to chase money instead of H-m.
