Last Sunday, my boss , her boyfriend and her son together with us , officemates went to a nearby water reservoir. It was a beautiful place for bathing, washing clothes. The water was also for drinking. My boss and i didn't bathe in them, but we had fun just touching the water that comes out of the tubes. Once again, we became children as you can observe in the attached picture. Well, we all become children when we are having fun like this, don't we?

It's amazing how simple stuff can turn adults to kids. I was with family the other day. We were just roaming the mall, just hanging out, when my brother asked me if I can accompany him to Toy Kingdom, and so I did. I agreed because there are also video game consoles being sold there and I thought I'd see the prices. When I got there, shelves and shelves of toys suprised me. There really are a lot of toys there. I went to the Star Wars section and grabbed myself a toy Lightsaber. After a minute, I was swinging it while making sound effects, like a kid. These things can bring out the kid in us. After holding the toy, I quickly remembered the toys I had when I was young. I had lots of them and taken them for granted. I had no idea my parents had to work hard for me to have them.

Yep, it's too monotonous, I think a robot can live my life any day.

Indeed, it's amazing and surprising how many simple things can turn adults into kids. I can just imagine you, grown up swinging the toy Lightsaber and enjoying it. Oh well, we have to feel like kids once in a while. It breaks the monotony of being adults.

It is completely fine for one to be playful at times. Even though it may make us look like children again but as long as we are happy, there is no problem to it. I do act like kids too sometimes when it comes to eating while my girlfriend would be one when she step into the themed park. Oh well, just enjoy our life and we don't have to pay attention to what others think about us.

During that time, we forgot that we are adults. What we only have in mind is to enjoy. It's okay to feel like children if the group will act like one also at that moment.

From the picture I can see that every one of you is having a lot of fun with the cool water. It is a good feeling that you can find as small children. It is a wonderful memory when we long for those days when we were children. That kind of pleasure as a child is nice and simple without much thought. I miss my childhood and my childhood friends as well. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, we did have so much fun even for us who didn't take a bath. We simply frolicked in the water as you can see. It's so nice that we sometimes had some experiences like this, because it makes us feel like children once again.

Yes, jazel, we really had fun last Sunday, because of the fiesta foods and that experience in the mountain. I agree that being childlike is essential too, because simple things can already make us happy.

From the photo I can see that it was a hot day, no wonder you enjoyed yourself. It is good to take time off and do something a little unusual and out of routine. If it makes us feel young it is probably because for a while we forget all of our responsibilites and problems and simply enjoy the moment. I guess that is why you felt like a child again, as adults we tend to lose the joy of the moment except at special times. Perhaps we should treat ourselves more often.

Actually as we trod our way to the place , it was drizzling. But the water was a bit warm. The moment we saw the place, we all run towards it.

I am their adviser when it comes to some personal matter because i am way older than them . So, we always go out together in outings. I am the one in brown Ms. Hatley.

Having fun like swimming and playing with water like children do similar to second childhood. What wonderful fun, without any care in the world to worry. I remembered my wife and I took a guided group vacation to Europe. We are from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and we were joined my others from Penang in the northern Malaysia. We were having breakfast in our hotel and someone yelled, "Eh, it is snowing." Everyone in our group ignoring our breakfast and rushed out to play with snow. The seventy overs years olds were now children again. All of us had suddenly have all the energy of children. We rolled on the snow like children do as what we saw in movies. It was our first snow!

Yes, it was our first experience with snow. We first saw and touched snow. That was in Austria. It was a memorable experience. We made our first snowman in The Alps, Switzerland. The Alps is the mountain range extending from France through Switzerland to Austria. That was wonderful.

I think i will react that way too, if it's my first experience to see a snow , james. I will certainly forget that i am elderly and play in the snow, because it's my first time. Someday, i would like to be able to experience the snow too, when i get the chance to go abroad, where there is snow.

Oh yes, is said my boss and i are there, professor . But we didn't take a bath. Just a splash! I didn't know that the picture has been commented so i went back to the picture and saw your comment among others. i already commented back to answer. Your grandkids are what makes your feel young, that's good. But do you have some bodies of water where you can harmlessly frolic like what we did, professor?

I think that no matter how old we become, there remains a child in us. I am in my early 40's and although I may not look like my 20's, still feel young inside. My son would often tease me about the way my friends and I talk. He would laugh and say that we talk like teenagers. Well, we are all happy for the compliment, of course. Cos I think my friends and I really got stuck somehow in our high school life that whenever we are together, we still talk the same and not stiff like other people our age.

That's good to hear jenny. Though we may be not in our youthful days, we remain youthful in our ways. That's because we were always used to being that way. Thus, it makes us always feeling young and would every now and then , our childlike attitudes surfaces.

That's true chang. We really enjoyed it so much that we think of going back someday again. But this time, i will be prepared with a swim wear and take a bath too My boss is actually very much younger than me. So when i am with her, i feel young again.

No, she's 15 years younger than me actually. That's why i am sometimes her adviser on personal matters too. Yes it is, where the water oozes out filtered, to the river below. It's just a shallow river, so you can't swim. You just have to take a bath under the big tubes, where the water comes out.

Yes I always do like a kid. In fact just yesterday I played volleyball with my students. It has been 25years since I last played the game. I am a bit rusty but I am somehow still got a little touch of it. Now I am a robot.. all the muscle pains around. LOL . but we had fun (students were so happy seeing me play)

ALL of us sometimes like to feel and experience again those things that we do during our childhood.I sometimes bath in the rain , play with my nephews toys with them, teach and help them color their coloring books and some school stuff.

It's really a nice feeling when we do things and react to it like children. As we all know, children can easily be made happy. Indeed bathing in the rain can make us feel like children too. And so are those activities you do with your nephew. It's relaxing when we feel like children, once and a while though.

Yeah such a moment happened to me too but I did not become a child at time. At such young age I became a parent. I gave lots of instructions to all who came into the pool.

Of course adults can always have fun. What i meant is that we become so like children, laughing and shrieking while we watch and them bathing.

u are right Ms SIMPLYD. i think we are just missing our childhood life sometimes. me mostly i can act like a child when I show fondness or affection to my boyfriend.I frequently do it like when we are having a webcam chatting we're teasing each other, laughing and dancing like a kid.

Indeed my friend, we should always try to have nice moments like this with our office mates. Even if Sunday was only our rest day, we sometimes take time to be with office mates in a different yet very relaxing activity.
