Do you eat fruits everyday?

A close friend of mine is more than 50 years old, but looks like a younge man and own tender skin. He loves all kinds of meat and eat like a horse. However, he is not fat. He told me the secret was fruits. He eats lots of fruits everyday. He said that the fruit could aid to digest food and keep metabolism clicking along. Also, they provide various viatmins, minerals and fibre to help keep our body healthy. So, if he sends a greeting to me, he would ask "have you eatten fruits today?"

It's a great reminder from your friend. Obviously he is living the benefits of fruits and he is sharing it with others. By the way, welcome to myLot! Eating fruits everyday is good. I want to eat fruits everyday but I have not enough money to buy fruits every.

I do.. I eat a banana everyday in the morning. Also during the day i eat an apple or an orange. I sometime eat mangos here as well. As I know fruits are good for us.

Wish we had less expensive mangoes here! I have similar habits though. Bananas, apples, and oranges are so portable and convenient, it is not too difficult to eat them every day.

Hi, I know eating fruits is good for our health and skin, but I don't eat them regularly. Maybe from now on, I should eat them every day in order that I can look young and have a nice skin, too. Thanks for sharing, and have a nice day.

Yes eating plenty of fruit is very good for health.Raw fruits contain high amount of antioxidants and delay aging and prevent formation of premature facial wrinkle formation.There are certain fruits like pomegranate that purify blood and helps to dissolve kidney and urinary tract stones. Fruits also contain high amount of vitamin and mineral which helps to stay healthy.Fruits also boost the immunity by increasing the amount of natural killer cells.But we need to be careful as now a days peoples are using more amount of pesticides and hormone to increase the productivity which ultimately causing health hazard.In my family we used to take so much of fruits but I really afraid because of increase use of hormones and pesticide during cultivation.

Well, I have heard that fruits do contain a lot of anti oxidants that delays the aging process. That could be one of the reasons why your friend is still very young looking. Another possibility is that your friends really knows how to handle stress. Well, I will try to eat more fruits in my daily food intake as I am not taking them all the time.

I agree with your dear friend. I eat lots of fruit everyday, along side my veggies. I eat eggs but no meat or fish, and I just love friut and veggies. They are very good at filling you up as well. My children take three fruits in there lunch boxes every day and have fresh fruit every braekfast time. If you use fruit that is in season then it is also very good for you and your pocket

The old saying, "An apple a day keeps the doctor a bay" is very true. Eat as much fruits as you can take. Fruits have multivitamins and minerals. I recently read an article on Health saying " An apple a day keeps cholesterol away. " In the study apple-eaters experienced a 23% in LDL ('bad') cholesterol, a 4% increase in HDL ('good') cholesterol and lost 1.5kg on average. Try eating legumes, nuts and grains as plants sterols are naturally found in these. These naturally found plant sterols blocks cholesterol absorption in small intestines and binds cholesterol and excrete it in faeces.

No doubt fruit is best one for health. It is proverb that eat an apple a day keep doctor away. If good quality of food is available than we must be eat these. We eat these after meal. I also like food but honestly speaking I don't eat everyday.

That's very good to know. We really get a lot of vitamins and minerals in fruits that is why it could help us become fit and look younger. I wish to have the same diet as your friend, but unfortunately, I don't have the money to buy fruits for everyday. I only get to eat fruits if my dad would buy for the whole family.

I can only eat fruits if someone will buy for me, I'm not usually eating fruits but I'm trying to consume it daily. I know that it is healthy and make us young because fruits has a content of antioxidants and anti-aging as well. I must be an eater of this. :) Have a nice day ! :)

I eat fruit everyday, and i do have quite nice skin, that may be why, but i don't want to sound too boastful about this. i eat fruit because i like it, i also like salads and raw vegetables, i don't know why. i remember when i was young my mother used to buy peas in their pods and we had to shell them for her, to cook, and i used to eat a few raw while we were doing it, because they tasted nice. but i eat them because i liked them, but i don't how i developed this liking.

Its true that if you eat fruits it will make your skin beautiful and healthy! And it will make you look more younger! Fruits have Isoflavonoids which fights against cancer and removes free radical in the body's systems. But if you will not take it in proper diet it will also cause rapid bowel movement due to to much intake of fibers!

Yeah, fruits are really great for our health. Cleanses our bodies and gives us nutrients to prevent diseases such as cancers, etc... I don't really eat fruits daily because it's expensive here in the city, but I do have it every once in a while, when I feel like eating it. When I go to my province, I make sure I eat different types of fruits such as mangoes, guavas, jack-fruit, guyabano...etc..

Not everyday, but pretty often. Depends on what kind of fruit is at home or at the stores and fresh. There are some fruits that I rarely eat... I like them, but I don't love them (such as apples and pears)... I love grapes and oranges... I love blood oranges, too, but they are so hard to find here!

Yes, I eay fruits everyday. Whenever I haven't eaten it in a day, as if there is lacking in my meal. I see to it that I can eat fruit everyday. It makes me glow and in good mood always. Thanks for this.

I would think that vegetables would be important as well. Fruits are usually a lot easier for me to eat regularly, since they don't take much preparation.

i hate fruits maybe i should start eating one. :D the only fruit i ate is banana and mango. :) i'll take your advice now.
