what do you think internet has done to our social lives?

as internet is getting more and more of our time, do you think we are abandoning those heartful moments we used to share with our loved ones walking down the street or sitting in a park?or are we right in progressing the internet way?
what do you think? just say it out!

every thing has two sides..one good and the other not so good..internet on one hand has become an important source of information,business,communication, and transactions...but on the other hand it also breed certain undesirable habbits which is completely unwanted..but we need to promote the good and try and curb the bad..

Personally speaking internet has changed me loads!And I don't know if in the better way or in a bad way.I used to socialize a lot,I used to love going out,meeting friends,calling up friends but from past 2-3 years I have become so addicted to the net.I have kind of started living a virtual life.And now as I have slowly come to realize that I lost all my true real life friends because of this internet,I have stepped back a bit.I used to say some of my best friends are over the net only.I actually forgot the fact that people have different personalities online and offline which often maybe unintentional too.And for the good part,I feel techie techie,more advanced.It feels good when friends come to me whenever they need any kind of help over the net.It has helped me a lot,I can relieve my tensions,be in touch with people and gain so much information too!
