What i think is that working at home makes you lazy and dum,You can't learn new things like facing new people, public dealing, public interests and other things,40 percent of heart diseases are caused by sitting at one place for long hours!I think its good to work out side, you move your body and take a fresh air!
What do you guys think?

I am not so. I've worked from my home for hours, but I can split my time for work and, socializing with my family and friend, and doing sports. It depends on the person. Not other people who work from home are lazy. But thanks to mentioning it, so I now know that sitting too long regularly can make hearth attack.

I had this kind of experience before. It was so very tiring to work overnight, especially if you are targeting the deadline. Weekends are the only time for me to rest. Luckily, I managed to change another job. I never felt lazy, though I am obliged to do it.

Maybe in your case but not in mine. Because of working at home, I am able to learn new sides of me. I gain different knowledge and ideas which only online jobs could supply. In the past, I have no idea about blogging but now, I get used to it. Because of blogging, I began to explore more about my potentials and also explore more about the things happening around. Additionally, I got a work now because of online jobs. I am indeed lazy for the past few years but since I uncover different working at home opportunities, I learned to stand and do such jobs.

Working or writing from home need not make you lazy if you have a plan. A writer who earns a living from writing MUST have a plan and must have time slots for the different areas of writing; for instance article writing for earnings and writing on personal projects such as short stories and novels. One can easily fall behind in a novel when writing as article writing is so addictive and by the time you realize you should work on your books it is three in the afternoon. I am highly motivated and has learned since childhood how to occupy myself and writing for 40 years now is the outcome. Make a plan. Devote how many hours for each project. Work in the garden in between and stretch your legs, walk to the park, or pull out weeds and plant some flowers. These short breaks allow you to think and work in your head and also gives you sunshine and Vitamin D. Get to stepping.

Well it depends on how you handle things. Definitely, every career path has its own good and bad points depending on how you handle them. I agree with you, working at home somehow constricts your social life as there are less chances of meeting new people. But you fix this up by trying to make new friends or join other groups. With regards to public interests, you can always use the internet to get updated on the latest trends and happenings.Yes, it's true that having a sedentary lifestyle may lead to heart disease but working 8 hours of your everyday life in the office working in front of your computer and taking long hours in your home office is just the same. But the great thing about working at home is you have the control over your work environment. If you want to take a breather, you can go to a nearby coffee shop, take your laptop with you while sipping your cappuccino. If you're concerned about not having enough exercise, you can adjust your working hours to squeeze in some crunch-ups.
I think the best way to deal these drawbacks of working at home is by knowing your priorities and having a proper time management.

There are definitely some disadvantages of working from home, foremost of which is the lack of physical interaction with people. But most can be avoided. It's true that sitting for prolonged period of hours has an adverse effect on our health, but this is also what most office workers do. We just need to stand up and stretch, walk a bit once in a while. Laziness is a state of mind. We just have to discipline ourselves.

Those are some of the reasons that even if I did start working for myself or start my own business, I would want to make sure that I stayed in touch with others. I would want to be sure that I regularly communicate and collaborate with others in that context, otherwise it could start to get very lonely working for yourself!

I do a few things online to make money from home, but i don't feel that I am lazy, as I do get up, stretch my legs, and I also exercise them by talking walks, weather permitting of course. I do find that sitting in one place all day, has an effect on my legs, so I have to stretch them to keep them moving. By walking, I do exercise them as well, as myself, and my two dogs. I enjoy working from home, as I feel that I am accomplishing something that i wouldn't otherwise. Take care, and have a good day.

I would like to royally disagree with you and your characterization. There are many people who do online work for part and fulltime form. They do this because they need money and they have a chance of working instead of getting rejected by some applications. It is merely a way to make ends meet and insulting that for me is very low.
We live in a modern world. We communicate in many means, usually face to face or even by a medium. Any person can do any transaction using a proper medium. People who do working at home employs that and they must compensate for the state they are in. It is hardly perfect but when you are making ends meet, who cares?
Working at home has its own disadvantages. It is not a perfect job. But having the right attitude and discipline is the same with employed by people working in offices. If you want a job to connect with people and see them on a daily basis, fine but it doesn’t mean that having a working office at home doesn’t mean you don’t deal with people anymore and you are cut from the world.

In this modern days work from home is quite common and most of the persons are interested in doing it as a part time job. Even some persons are doing home based jobs as their full time work. It is having both pros and cons. While doing our work from our home, we are our own boss and we can do our work as per our comfort. We can allocate our own time for our work.
This kind of home based jobs reduced the socializing activities. If we are doing office jobs, we can make a lot of friends and socialize with them. We can make friends in online sites and have virtual conversation with them, but it is far different from the real socializing as well as sitting in the same place will give some unwanted health issues. We must take frequent break and refresh our self by doing other things.
Too much of online activities is not good for our health and eyes, so we must allocate our time and take break to relax. Some people will turn as lazy by doing this kind of home jobs, but this activity is not a good one. We must be active and do all our work, we must allocate our free time for our online jobs and do other works simultaneously.
Always be like a busy bee and give work to your self. Don't sit in the same place for a long time and turn as a lazy person, be active and show you are not an active person by doing the online jobs. Home jobs are giving confidence to lot of persons like home makers, retired persons and physically challenged persons. It is not a job for lazy persons, it is the job for the people who is interested in self improvement and doing self job without depending other persons

It is true that you should work out side because health problems,i do not know about heart diseases but lazy is the main thing to the person,he/she should move his body here and there,if it is really needed to stay at home you can do excersise and then you can seat and work how many hours that you can.like mothers and old people or handicaps they have to stay at home.

I have the same attitude to your opinion. It's true for us to be lazy especially when we are siting in front of PC or TV. I had told myself to go out instead of sitting indoor, but I found it's a little hard. So, I won't start the computer and go out when I get up.

I worked from home a few years ago and it had its plus and minus factors. No commuting meant I could be at my desk straight after breakfast, but once there I had to resist distractions like online games, Quincy ME on the TV, and even going back to bed.
The nature of my work meant that I got out of the flat most days, and I often made arrangements to have lunch with friends to stop me craving human company.
Working from home isn't so bad, and I've had worse jobs. I once worked the night shift alone at an isolated filling station back in the days before mobile phones - now that was a lonely place to be.

While I will agree with you that there are certain disadvantages to working at home, I personally feel like there are more advantages to working at home than there are to working outside the house. First of all, I don't have to spend money on gas and business clothes to be able to work at home.
In addition to that, I am available to my children when they need me. I don't have to call into work when one of my children is ill.
And in saying that you think that working at home makes a person dumb, I completely disagree with that. In the years that I've been working at home, I feel like I've learned more in all of the years that I was working outside the house.

It really depends on the amount of time & how much work you do on the internet that makes you lazy. As much as I want to become a millionaire, if, (which I seriously doubt) it calls for a full twelve hour day you spend at your computer, then it can become lazy. But you do have to be mobile and keep your heart rate up. Take breaks, eat healthy (no Cheetoes or Kettle Chips...speaking for myself) and get some air.

yes, it is really different when you work outside the house. You need to groom and brush your teeth and dress up. Yes it is a must to work outside, unless you are that discipline that when you work at home you are really working as if you working in an office or outside the house.

You are working at home so you're not lazy. But sitting down for long hours
is another issue. It's true what you said about heart disease for people
without excersise. But since you are just at home, you have more time for
exercising. I't just about time management. Maybe you should set goals
or time planning and follow it as much as you can.
