Evenin' fella - I am from the Peoples Republic Of Bolton in the North of England. Originally from Wigan, but I came to Bolton to educate and do other missionary work. The hardest thing has been to convince them that incest is bad and so is their football team

A user probably one from your place posted there are 11,000 Britons here in Mylot in answer to your query. I think you're now happy to learn this fact. I am glad with your indication that you would likewise want to talk with anybody even non-Brits, thus, would you count me as your friend?

British seems like a dirty word these days. Everyone in Scotland, Ireland, England and Wales wants to have their independence. So, there might be loads of people here who are 'British' but they might not want to own up to it.

Sadly this is true, I know lots of people who are quite insistent that they are Scottish or Welsh as opposed to British. I could never really understand this because being English I am happy to be called British.
I suppose the same actually applies where we consider ourselves to be British but refuse the title European, despite the fact that we are a part of Europe.
I really like your choice of username, quite original.

I think that British means English to most others in the UK. Even the Union Jack does not cover all the relevant countries in the UK. No wonder the Welsh feel excluded!
I am English too, but I do wonder why "God Save the Queen" is only played as an 'English' National Anthem?

@Orson_Kart apparently next year they are going to put a leek on the Union Jack or call it the Onion Jack to incorporate the leek
