At what time of the day do you feel like writing?

I prefer writing at night, or early in the morning. I think I get inspired more with the quiet environment of the night! During the day there are too many distractions. That's why I also post most of my discussions here late in the afternoon, or before I go to sleep!
When do you think it's the best time for you to express yourself through writing?

I usually have felt myself inspired more towards night tight. It's night here and I am inspried now. I kind of just layed in bed and "thought". I am not article writer, but I do enjoy writing stories. Sometimes the muse hits me and here I find that even my discussions are "leaked" with "inspriation" and "eloquent" ways of writing.
I won't ever claim I am the best writer, but when the muse hits me, I feel great.

It sounds like fun!
I don't get waves of inspiration like you, I would love that!
I agree that the night time has something different that helps me be more creative! It doesn't matter if you write articles or stories or just discuss with your friends. When we express our thoughts in writing the feeling is very satisfying!

I think a lot of it has to do with the quietness. At night people are asleep, your left alone with your thoughts, you kind of "wind down" from the day. It does make me think though, years ago, writers from different times, Shakespeare for instance, when did he find his muse? Was it morning? night? was it different then, in that aspect? lol.

Hi Besweet, I also love to write at night when I am very relaxed and happy at home.
I like to have music on while I write.
i think that is the best time of all.
Morning is not always a good time, because i have to get up early and get to work. The stress of work is already on me before i leave the house.
The only mornings I like happen to be weekends.
I can write after I have finished breakfast and reading the newspapers.

I do my writing mostly during the night, as I have been able to rest and relax and all my thoughts just keep on pouring whenever I am less stressed out.

You write down the ideas at night and then look at them in the morning and create your writing? This is actually a very good technique! I have tried it when I get the idea very late when I am preparing for sleep. I take a quick note at that moment and come back to it in the morning! Unfortunately Ii usually don't have time to work on it immediately but I have thoughts and new ideas until the following night when I develpo themore!

I prefer to write in the morning. I feel more awake and alert in the morning while at night before I sleep, I already feel sleepy and drowsy and I am not able tow rite anymore. So I prefer in the morning.

I either do it early in the morning or late at night. But that is just a media. I write when I have something to say and I find the time to put it in words. When I`m at mylot, it`s more like morning and late in the evening. I come with my coffee in the morning and check my mail and mylot.

I also usually prefer to do some captive writing at night time. Usually when it's a bit late, most of the people around me are already sleeping and theres virtually no noise that will distract me. The weather is also of course fairly cold that I feel comfortable to stay in my room for a long time. I don't tknow but it might just be me and my fascination with stars that when I look outside my window and see them, I feel at peace and my mind clears up that I can think of a lot of stuff to write about.

I also like looking at the sky with the shining stars and the moon! But I have to admit that when I am inside my warm room, I rarely open the windows to see them. Night time is the best time for me to concentrate as well!
During the day I get interrupted all the time by the phone, the noises outside, my family walking around the house and talking, etc.

There is no specific time for me in terms of writing. When I am inspired to write, it does not matter what time of the day it is as long as my thoughts flow naturally. Sometimes, I get to write in the morning when I hear the noises of my siblings and sometimes I get to write at night when everybody is sleeping and when the environment is at peace.

If you right at various times of the day, you must have greate variety to your ideas! I've noticed that if I read my writing at night and in the morning I will notice different things! I believe our mind works differently at different times in the same day!

I am a night person, meaning my mind usually works at night. but i can close myself to distraction if I wanted to. and if I want to focus on something. Most of the time I rely on my mood. If I am not in the mood to write I watch movie. Or if there is no interesting topic here, I just quit and do something else.

I am a night person as well but others keep trying to make me a morning person!
My friends always say that I should sleep earlier, but I find my inspiration at night and I really enjoy writing!
The fact that you take breaks if you don't feel like it is good because it rests you mind and the idea might come later when your mind is clear! We don't have to push ourselves!

Hello there. Actually there is no particular time of the day for me to write. I write when the inspiration strikes. One time I was even able to write in the wee hours of the morning because I was too angry and I need to unload my feelings. It felt good after. :) Sometimes I wake up early to write, so that my mind feels fresh after getting some sleep. :)

I can write at any time of the day as long as they are not children because they make a big noise and I can not write.
but always when I sit down to write this because I'm so happy and glad to write for my friends answering the discussions and give advice.
nice day!
