Super markets are selling lots of frozen food these days,it actually saves a lot of time when we are doing jobs and we come home late,no other choice then keeping frozen food in the microwave and eating it after few minutes, but i don't think its healthy because all the nutrients are simply wasted when it is frozen,Nuggets,Hash browns and other frozen foods are just replacing daily cooking foods, people are prefering it so much,i dont think children should eat frozen food items, because they are still growing and they need a lot more nutrients then us,what do you guys think?

I eat a vegan diet and so does my disabled son plus my daughter. I like to buy food that says suitable for vegetarians and vegans. I like to buy frozen vegetables like potatoes and fruits to put in drinks. My daughter like frozen vegan ice cream. I cook using my microwave sometimes. We eat a lot of salad which we store in our fridge.

There is no other things to ask for, if you eat a freshly ingredients from the market. It might be troublesome to have the time doing it, but the food is guaranteed fresh in nature. Though, if there is no time to do errands in the public market, then the last resort is grabbing food from the fridge.

In my country most people still prefer to buy the fresh meats, as they say it will taste better. So usually the frozen meats are less expensive and people are not very interested in it. They pay more attention to the fresh meats much more. As to me, I have no problem with the frozen meats. I can't really tell the difference. Especially when you have no time to go to the market to buy fresh meats, then the frozen meats will be your only one choice.

I think it depends on the kind of frozen food you are purchasing. Some foods like vegetables and fruits that have no other ingredients added to them are perfectly fine for adults and children alike to consume. Imagine picking foods from your garden and freezing them, so they don't go to waste. I have done this with bread before too, especially in the summer time when bread can get moldy real fast in the high heat. If you are buying foods that have a lot of additives to keep them fresh just like any food or processed foods, then no frozen foods are not a good idea. We just have to be smart shoppers.

I think it depends on the kind of frozen food you're referring to. There are frozen meat and fish dishes, frozen vegetables, and the like. Although they aren't as nutritious as fresh ones, it doesn't mean that all the nutrients were 'wasted.' Diminished, probably, but not removed. Then there are also frozen processed food like nuggets. They still have nutrients, but not as abundant as the freshly made ones. Plus they contain preservatives that some say aren't good for us. I agree though that we should avoid feeding our children with frozen or processed food. Fresh ones are always the best.

Yes, I definitely agree with you. It is not good for our health. If your schedule would permit, cook good food for your kids and for yourself of course. I believe that slow cooking is still the most delicious and the most healthy kind of cooking in the world. Don't let your busy schedule ruin your health and your kids' too. :)

That tolerates the idea to the busy people to keep on getting busier becaue everything is handy and can just get into the microwave and then there you are cooked food. Yes children suffers most of this. This may the children to be obese and poor critical thinkers.
