Maybe this could be reversed, and I should ask, "Do you hate non-homosexuals and non-lesbians? Then at least we can get an honest answer or do you love your homosexual or lesbian family member more then your non-homosexual or non-lesbian family member. That is what hurts, that you probably would.

I do not hate people but I do not like the idea that homosexuals and lesbians are smarter and more creative then anyone else. I did know a young man whose brother was homosexual and killed himself. I also knew a business man who was also and when I got Cypriots about a certain nightclub ( back in the late sixties) he warned me about it. I think everyone knew about his preferences, but then there was no boasting. You have to treat all,people equally and not give one group on a pedestal. N I also do not like that if a boy was abused by a man that he is a true homosexual who loves it. Otis sort of thinking that a married man and woman is classed like a girl who was sold Ito marriage as thousands of years ago, yet this is the argument put forth. By the way, I am very creative but I am not s lesbian. P

Sometimes we have to be a little more understanding towards gays and lesbians because they are treated so badly by those in society who do not understand that there is nothing wrong with being gay. I guess Miyazaki is referring to gender, either a male or a female. A gay is aware that his gender is male and the lesbian is still a female. We are not talking about transgenders here, anyway. And I don't think it's proper to question God's creation. Being a gay/lesbian is a choice, a preference. Men and women can either be evil or not, it's a choice to do bad or good. Is there anyone born gay? Even doctors never sees a gay inside a mother's womb. It's just a person's preference. And so, everyone should be respected according to his preference. The bottom line is, nobody has the right to condemn anyone, may he/she is a gay, lesbian, man or woman. We are all humans.

True that! people who are homophobic are people who sees old perception of the society. Homosexuality is not a crime nor a disease, nor a lifestyle, it's about being real to who you are to and what you feel, People who doesn't brace such persons are people who are trapped in stone age.

Gays/lesbians demand money? Why would they do such? Did you owe them? 'Coz here in my country, it's usually the gays/lesbians who were financially abused by users. There are bad guys who'll stick with gays and would even hurt them if they don't finance them. Some gays/lesbians are not that strong when it comes to saying "no" to their partners. Such that they are often abused. Still I believe, there is karma for these users.

Maybe that's true. They who put judgment on these people have personality disorder. There's no reason to discriminate these people who choose to be true to themselves. They are a lot better than those who pretend to be righteous and flawless.

I also have a gay cousin and yes, he is accepted by everyone:) Guess there are just people who sees their creativity negatively. Maybe you're right, they tell them rude things 'coz they want to prove to themselves they are normal and righteous.

Agree with you. They are true people, and are strong despite knowing the criticisms they might face. Some are just getting out of control but it doesn't follow that they shouldn't be respected.

I am just curious, mind you ,it is not a challenge, wondering if there is anything in the bible that you know of which categorically states that GOD says that it is a sin to be gay.. or is it mainly priest talk? There may be ,or not, i really don't know,

bryanwmc: The Bible is the inspired Word of God, and in it we are told numerous times that homosexuality is a sin. It can not be any clearer than stated that man should not lie with man as he does with a woman or that homosexual acts are an abomination to God. I will be happy to give you specific Scripture references if you would like. The forbidding of homosexualiy comes from God, not just the priests.

Yes, they are still human like anyone of us. It's not the way they were born, it's the way they choose their actions.
