what do husbands want for a christmas gift?

my husband is finally home from his work overseas. he did not finish his 10 months contract and instead went home after 5 months because he wants to spend the December Holidays with us. me and the kids are so happy that he will be with us for Christmas and New Year, and i am so happy because he came home on the day of our 3rd wedding anniversary
. it's the first time we were able to celebrate our wedding anniversary together. he brought me a surprise gift, a pair or pearl earrings. but then, since he came as surprise, i wasn't able to prepare a gift for him. i plan to have it on Christmas day instead, but i have no idea what to give him. i am thinking of buying a belt or a wallet for him.

My fave gift for my guy is cologne. But he is an electronics freak, so I want to get him a gift card to an electronics store or something. Right now - short on funds. I saw a very amazing pair of boxer briefs and had considered that, too. It was a little out of my price range though.
This year, I may put together a very small budget gift basket. Maybe some samples of cologne, and a couple mini trialsize things and maybe something handmade. I am doing it on the cheap this year.

hi ladybugmagic!i am also considering the boxer shorts, i am searching for it online since i don't have time to go to mall for shopping. i'd love to give him a handmade and personalized card too, i hope and find time to make it. and oh, perfumes, he loves perfume but i can't afford the brand he's using,it cost almost $300.00 i think, so i better go for something cheaper,hehehe

Just a suggestion...Why not give him a bracelet or watch since wallet or belt is something that I would give a male friend? Of course, that is a suggestion. Of all people, you know your husband well. I'm glad that he's back home in your arms and I envy you since I just started here in Dubai and might be spending some Christmas away from my loved ones in the Philippines. I'll be saving more than enough so that when I go home to them, it will be for good!

Even not Christmas my wife always give me a gift. Last time when I got home from abroad, I was amazed she bought me pair of boxer shorts which I like it most. Although, far away from the brand I collected while I was in Middle East but I was happy with what my wife did.
I love perfumes so I bought one for me and one for my wife but sad to say she like both so I give her both perfumes and I only used the small BVLGARI that only free, when I bought the two.
Now, I am leaving again to another country and hopefully to find something different for her and also to our incoming baby boy.

Give him an expensive belt or a new fancy tie expensive watch. Or you can just take him out
to a nice romantic dinner and simply tell him you love him.
