Setting Mylot Goal/s - and Beating your Own Deadline

Hi jai Can't set any goals here anymore. I can be here normally only when there is no one around to see me doing this. And most of the time there is work and there are someone around. At home network connection isn't so good. Most of the sites are not showing up and for some sites it works but takes a lot of time before it loaded. Too bad for my online earning activities.

Jai sis, in my area here, today is the last day of November and i am happy able to passed through the payout level. I had been posting in here for 3 months, to be able to reach for the payout. Seems like, my offline matters really had sucked most of my online time. So far, i didn't set any goal as how many post i should do in a day. But, i do set some time aside for me to online, as long i am at home. But, December would be a month full of functions again, maybe i would to be missing here and there for a few days. So, would need until next year to reach for my next payout. Have a nice weekend again, sis...

My post is to reach $10 at the end of the month; however, that's already on Friday. I don't know if I can reach it. I hope so but if I won't reach it then it's fine. At least, I enjoy participating here. I won't mind my goal anymore. LOL. I wasn't able to participate a lot on the first week of November. I started to be active again last November 9th. Anyway, let's keep on posting and I hope we all will reach our goals. Happy mylotting.

I do not set goals at all. I just participate and I like it that way.

Last October , make it to the payout Jaiho. Thus, my earnings for that month was of course carried over for November. And this day, i saw that i am just 7 cents from the payout, because i really aimed for it this November. Now i am aiming for 1 few dollars more.

Before, I set my goal to reaching the minimum payout within two months since I am not that active here. But this month, it's like I can reach the payout within a month only but my cough is disturbing me from participating here. I am short by $1.48. And considering that, I can say that I am able to fulfill my goal to reach the minimum within two months because I am only on my first month.

hi sis! goal setting is very important... it gives one a purpose and a direction. it separates the driver from a floater or a swimmer from a sinker. on my early days in mylot, i used to have mylot goals and i'm happy i have achieved most of what i set out to do except for 1. i still haven't achieved a $100 single pay-out... as i'm about $30 short still. it would have been easier if i actively participate here like before when it was easy for me to reach pay-out of $10 or more. i have set my sights on a particular goal and i know in due time, i'll reach it. wow! you are definitely one of the most active filipino mylotter here.

Hi jai, Yes but sometimes I don't mind at all specially when your heading to something important outside myLot. And it seems even though I want to reach a goal this month I can't reach a payout but for sure next month I will not surely miss it.

I did tried to set out a goal last month and that was to reach payout, and I did luckily. But with that, I did a lot of mistakes like starting a discussion that was a duplicate of someone else's which wasted a lot of mylotters time and effort. With that I promised to just enjoy my stay here and never try to set goals again. I don't want to make mistakes again because I am trying to either reach payout or reach a thousand posts a month.

Sis I am also worry about my payout because only 2 days remains and I want 2.50 dollar and I think this is not possible in two day. But now Dollar rate is high so I want to complete my target. I know this is very hard but I never leave my hope and try till last moment.

I never put myself in that situation. I never thought about setting goals here. I figure I will do what I am able to do. There are some days that I am here posting and responding more then other days. I think if I set a goal for myself I would feel pressured to accomplish it and I would feel bad if I did not make it. So I just keep it simple.

Good for you! Setting goals keep you focused on the things you want to achieve. It is also a great motivational tool that keeps you going and unsatisfied until the goal is met. I had before goals here in myLot too. When I was starting out in here, I set my goal to finish getting the myLot features like emoticons and copy-paste. Then I set goal on payout. Highest goal that I have achieved is $30+ in a month. And really, setting up a goal really pumped me into doing that.

Hi, I set goals many times but our network system and electricity supply system destroys my goals. we have power cut problem many times. When electricity is going well there is problem of networking. So I have decided to just take part and enjoy and don't set goals.

I haven't set any goals for myself. I just make it a point that I came on mylot every day and just have fun. I think I will be able to come on a lot more due to all the time that I have off from work, it helps me get the day to go by quicker and so I won't be so bored. While I search for jobs and work on other online jobs I have. I do try to make a goal though to make payout each month. Well last month I hit payout, but I don't think I will this month, I've got a long ways to go. But oh well, if not I'll for sure hit it for the next month. Congrats though on hitting your goal. Hopefully you will next time around.

I do and I don't, if that makes any kind of sense at all. I do make goals so that I can keep the discussions that I've started fresh while also responding to discussions that other people have started. However, the reason that I set these goals has nothing at all to do with the change that I'm making on here, instead, it is because I do like to work with all of my own discussions but I find that my real passion is in responding to discussions that other people have started.

There is a saying and I am sure everyone knows about it _" Setting the Goal in Life is Very Easy but to Complete or accomplished it is very difficult." Why this is so, what I feel is that many time when we set the goal that time we does not consider or think that some or other work will come forwards or any obstacle may come in life to complete the goal what we have set. But any way what my goal is that try to log in at Mylot daily if not for two to three hours daily but atleast one hours and take part in discussion without fail.

Hi jaiho! I am still struggling to reach payout because I was not able to participate often because of some work related matters. But I am confident that I can make it before the end of the month.

Wow, a thousand post just in one month, you are a serious myLotter! Well, my goal for this month is just to reach the 500th post And I did it after 5 weeks of joining the lot . My next goal for the month of December is to reach my first payout. Im keeping my fingers crossed despite the fact that I haven't been participating that much these past week.

WOW... You said you were busy but still got your 1000 post for this month, that's awesome. :) I can't imagine myself reaching that amount of post in just one month, basically because of my work. It's really nice to know your goals... It makes me inspired :)
