I got some great news at the Drs. My cancer cells have shrunk!

This chemo seems to be working. What shrunk the most was in my right lung. That was the biggest. I've been inhaling hyrogen peroxide spray. I think that helped it shrink more, but I'd have a hard time proving or disproving it.
So have you gotten any good news lately? Have you shrunk anything with or without trying?
Thanks and take care.

I am SO glad! And I understand you perfectly well as I had chemo last year and my lymphoma shrunk too so I`m on remission. I have a follow up treatment with monoclonal antibodies every 3 months, but my hair is slowly growing back. What is this hidrogen peroxide spray? Is it something besides the chemo? Or is it instead of it?

I'm using it in addition to chemo. If you look up hydrogen peroxide food grade and uses, you'll find there are a lot of uses for it.
Glad you're in remission and I hope the antibodies keep working for you. I haven't heard of that (monoclonal antibodies).

Check it online. I learned yesterday that a scientist got the Nobel prize for the discoveries of them.

hello friend, well that is good news indeed , never heard of that sort of treatment. The only thing that shrinks here is the amount of stuff you can buy with the same amount of money.

What great news.My sister always thought that using peroxide to bleach her hair might have caused her to develop the cancer she had, but it was a different kind and I think stress did it. Shrinking anything. . . no not my waistline, my out to eat budget, yes, and very imperceptibly the debts I owe.

Yes, those debts are hard to shrink, aren't they? Keep on trying.
Yes, it is great news.
Food grade hydrogen peroxide we've always used on sores and as a mouth wash. Good stuff. Interesting if you get a chance to research it, too.
Thank you very much and take care.

what great news! i am very happy for you!
the only thing that has shrunk here is our budget. we are getting the same amount of money yet the price of everything keeps going up and up! the price of food here is just nuts lately. i also heard that it was supposed to go up in January too. this only means that we will have to mortgage our house when we want to go grocery shopping!

If we can save the $ for it, everyone I know is either trying to get a hoop house or a green house. Time to start the window sill gardens!
Thank you, I'm glad you're happy for me, too!

Congratulations! I have not had cancer, but my sister-in-law in P.E.I. has and the doctors have told her that the chemo for her has worked. So it is a good chance, that it will be in remission. The only thing I have shrunk is my stomach. My waistline is not going down that fast, unfortunately. No good news on my end though as to health. It is still the same.

I know a very religious person who said do not worry, worry paralizes. Have concern. Concern energizes. With concern, you do something.
Glad you're feeling a little better. Peace and love.

I am so glad your cancer cells have shrunk. That is awesome news. I have never had cancer, but had something on me that could have caused cancer. I had it removed back in April of 2012. Again i'm sop happy for you and the awesome news. I never heard of hydrogen peroxide spray before. Glad it is working for you.

I am feeling so very happy for you dear writers. You consistent positivity in thoughts and actions have definitely helped you heal quicker and the medics seem to be doing their job well.
I am on the other sides at the moment, have some severe complications inside and unfortunately I am not in a position to travel to my doctors who are 1200 kilometers away. I will try finding out some doctors here and let them try and experiment on me. The internal bleeding seems to have re-started and this time it is much worse.

I'm sorry Sids that things are going the other way for you. You may or may not recall, but I had shrinking cells last fall and growing ones last spring. So I understand the ups and downs.
Eat lots of greens if you can so your body can make lots of iron. I hope the near Drs can help. you. Please let us know how you're doing. I'll pray for you if you want.
Peace and love to you and yours.

You know dear, whenever you mention you praying for me, that has shown positive effects for sure. I am today at my wife's place and we came to know that her organization (the port - it is their school she is working in) has launched a facility for its employees and their immediate family wherein they can avail medical facilities at reduced prices at select hospitals in the state and a few others in the country. I have arrived here to get my details processed and they tell me that within a week I can get myself treated with discounted rates at their recommended hospitals.
I am grateful to you for offering Praying for me, and I will seek your prayers when I am desperate and more ill for sure.

That's good to know. Cancer is scary and the last thing we want is to make it worse. As for your questions ... I don't really have any good news lately. I also have nothing that shrunk with or without trying. Haha! Anyway, hope you will soon be rid of these cancer. Get well soon! Keep fighting cancer! You will get better! Don't lose hope!

Yes it is scary. More than I hope you ever know.
Maybe you'll have really good news soon. Never even shrunk a wool sweater?
Thanks and take care.

hello writersedge,
that's very good news, so what ever it is you are doing you are going to have to keep on doing.
I have shrunk a few woollen jumpers, and a few times I have left a ready meal in the oven for too long, and that has shrunk.
though there are few things i need to grow rather than shrink for me to feel like i have been successful, though sometimes one thing has to shrink for another to grow, so i will have to go off and think about this.

Thank you, yes it is very good news.
Yes, the cells need to shrink in order for me to grow strong.
Oh wool. Yes, when one forgets to put the wool stuff in a wash separately pile, that does happen.
Take care and nice to hear from you.

That is wonderful news!! I am so happy for you!
Good news....I quit my overly stressful job about a month ago. Seriously, that is good news. I have a job that pays less and it is only till the end of the year, but hey I have a job. Still good news. I have another job starting in January when this current job ends; more good news. I got a few toffee orders today, so I made some money off of that. Even more good news.
Shrunk anything? Nope, I am pretty sure my butt got bigger during my month off of work.

That is wonderful news.
I think that the only thing around here that has (maybe) done any shrinking are some of my clothes. I've unfortunately only gained a couple of pounds since coming back North, but some of my pants are fitting much more nicely, so they must have shrunk in the dryer.
My cats claim that their allotment of kibble has shrunk, though. They say that there is too much bowl and too little kibble. Uh huh...

There are many alternative medicines and I've tried lots of them. But they didn't seem to work in isolation or help out with the chemo. But this is.
Like your name. I sign off as peace and love (the other way around) quite often.
Thank you for the good luck wish and I, too, hope it keeps going.

It's good to hear that you're condition is improving. In my case, there's a lot of good news and the thing about shrinking is about my weight. Good news is about job opportunities that arrived or came without expecting it and I've been receiving a lot of help. About my weight, I'm not monitoring my weight but I feel that it's decreasing.
