have you secretly wished someone's death?

I have to admit it but back in the day yes, there was this person who really made life difficult and since I didn't want to fight upfront, I just secretly wished and prayed he'd die. Yes, that was really bad and evil. Today, I don't do that anymore. I have probably thickened my emotional defenses and I don't get hurt very easily now.
Honestly, have you done this?

Yes that is really really evil thinking. But I think I have almost done this too. There was also this person I really hated as well. I can't really get a long with this person and we always fight. I have secretly wished that she's no longer in my life. I haven't really wished for this person to die. I think it was just a wish that this person will disappear with my life. When I grew older, I grew wiser and stronger so I don't think of this stuff anymore.

I remember when I was a kid watching sad movies particularly fairy tales where I cursed and wish the villain to die (hehehe)
I admit out of anger I did cuss few times before- teenage days when I am having fight with my cousin.
But never I wish it secretly.

I don't pray for others to die but that I should be successful and G-d should protect me. We have a statement from our Sages in Judaism that someone should never rejoice when their enemy falls. Though i can understand how some people would opt for this path as there is nothing worse then those who oppose you and wish you harm(without valid cause).
