Wow, Time is so fast. Next week is already December! This means we have to prepare our Christmas gifts! How I wish I'll be a child again since I receive a lot of gifts when I was a child. Now that I'm grown up already, I am the one giving gifts!!
How about you? do you like giving gifts or receiving gifts?

I was not a Christian when I am a child. I became Christian when
I met my wife who is a Christian. She brought me to church. Therefore,
I can't compare whether Christmas is more interesting now or then.
However, I like Christmas because of its wonderful and meaningful
message of God's gift to mankind. I also love the Christmas decorations
in the malls plus I like to see the joy on my son's face as he open his
present.

There are times that I think the same.
Now we realize how life's so hard as we grow up.
Unlike our childhood days, those carefree days of fun, play and laughter.
Gifts...now we need to start wrapping for small kids

There's nothing us from feeling like a child during Christmastime Well, I feel that way, that is. Christmas always bring back good childhood memories for me. I;m a parent now and I'm the one giving out gifts, but I still love receiving them, still excited at opening them.

I just watched the animated movie called "Rise of the Guardians".
It reminds me of Christmas is near. Yes, you are absolutely right.
Time passes by so fast and we are near to the end of the year with
new resolutions to be made. Me too, Christmas is much more fun and
full of surprises when we are a child. Received gifts, sing Christmas
carols from house to house and the true joy we experienced. How I wish
that I can turned back time to my childhood with my son to see the Christmas
that I experienced in the countryside - less commercialised but full of the
true spirit of Christmas. I do give gifts during Christmas :)

Well kids are pretty much excited for Christmas, with gifts that they will received. I also misses being a child during Christmas since there are no things to worry about and just enjoy the season. I also like receiving gifts and giving gifts too even in simple ways that could somehow brings smile and joy to other people. They always says that it the thoughts that count and the happiness that it could bring to other people.

Hahaha! My sentiments exactly. As if you were reading my mind! Being an adult during Christmas is really a pain, not only for the pocket but also the brain. First you have to list down the names, checking it twice then finding the ample gifts for each of them. After which you will send them out before December 24th which is very difficult for courier and even difficult for personal delivery due to traffic. Indeed, being a child is very different! You only get to receive gifts, frown on the gifts you don't like and be merry on the gifts you truly enjoy. Sigh, how I wish I can turn back the clock. Oh well, let us not forget the true meaning of Christmas which is to remember the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ!
