The heat of the sun, the cool breeze and the sound of the waves somehow comforts me. I'm lucky enough to live just 10 minutes drive to the beach. Today is a perfect day to go diving, but when we got to the beach I decided to ride the "cebu jet boat" which could power turn to 360 degrees in a very fast speed. I needed some adrenaline pumping in my system. It was just what I need. I put on a lot of sunblock though. A few days ago I made a promise to myself not to go to the beach anymore because from where I came from tan or dark skinned women is not beautiful. I should probably wear a whole body suit and a bonnet next time.

Well the sunny day is just because there is a brewing storm coming in the south. I thinnk in a matter of few days there is a super typhoon coming to hit Mindanao and the Visayan island. I just hope that by the time it hits land it would be less stronger than it was.

The news said, the typhoon targeting Surigao. I just read the message of my friend in my town asking for prayer for everybody who lives in my province and in my town. Now, I feel scared for my family and relatives there. I pray that this typhoon will not hit stronger as what they said.

I would love to go to the beach everyday and would never get tired of it. The only problem I have is how to not look really dark. I don't like the feeling of putting sunblock on because it makes me feel sticky and gooey. lol

The beaches in the Philippines sound incredibly beautiful and wonderful. I live in England and this is winter time at the moment. The weather in my home country is cold and sometimes wet with rain.
When I visit a tropical destination I have to take care not to get sun burned skin. Therefore I wear suncream and sunblock to protect my skin. A whole body suit sounds ideal for you. I love seeing white sandy beaches with gently waving palm trees.
You live around the same time to the beach, just ten minutes, as me. My local beach is cold and muddy in the wintertime. It is a place to enjoy in the summer time which is June to August.

It is sounds so lovely where you live in the Philippines. It is sunny and warm year round so it is ideal. Yes, the hot sun can cause tanning of the skin and sometimes sun burn. Using a sun block cream is a good idea. I suggest long sleeved cotton clothing and a cotton wide brimmed sunhat. Then you can go to the beach and enjoy yourself. December is freezing cold winter time in my home country. In August we may or may not have beach weather.

Welcome to myLot Krizzy4u!
You're lucky to live beside the beach. It is so comforting, the water, the waves..
Right you are. It is still hot this time of the year. I think it is climate change that is why the weather is not like the weather before. Weather now is unpredictable.

Yes you're probably right. I was expecting to rain today because of the weather update. Hopefully it will not rain as hard as expected.

Living close to the beach, you are so lucky! It is so convenient to go for a swim, boating, diving and surfing when you live so close to the ocean water. You sure is lucky enough than many people, especially even under the scorching heat of the summer sun; you can still enjoy your life with the cool breeze brought by the ocean wind and go for a skin dipping under the cold water, i am so jealous of you, i will not care too much how dark or tan my skin is if i can afford to live by the ocean, it is just immaterial.

I don't advice being under the sun at noon because the heat is just so intense, it's not natural for december to be this hot. It can cause heat strokes and such. Just by being under the sun for a few minutes makes me dizzy. Even if you put sunblock all over, you can still feel the pain from the heat of the sun. Be careful

Wow I very envy you you can still enjoy the wonderful sunshine in December,in my city the temperature is very low and I feel very cold these days, even I don't willing to go outside,so may be I should save some money and have a travel to the
Southern hemisphere countries to spend my winter. That is amazing that I can go to the beach and enjoy the sunshine in winter, because it is unbelievable in Northern hemisphere countries.

I think u are very happy to live in a city which is not far from the beach. In my hometown, winter is so cold that I have to dress up like a big cotton ball to prevent the cold.I am very envious you can enjoy the sun at this time.Althogh the sunlight will make ourselves black, but I think pleasure is more important than anything else, just do yourself.BUt while there is no sunlight,I also enjoy outdoor skating at this time.Because "enjoy the life whereever u are"is my motto.

Why would a dark skinned or tan women not beautiful? I think that is so sad to hear because mostly, these colored skin are the ones we could really say beautiful. Anyway, the typhoon hasn't hit us yet and that is one thing we should be thankful for that is why it is still so hot. A summer in December indeed. Good to hear you are enjoying your day with some adrenaline rush and fun in the water
