Would The World Situation Be Better Off Without America's Intervention?

I have been wondering about this question for a very long time to the extent that I hesitate raising this up for discussion.
Since Vietnam until the recent Afghanistan, I have to say that none of the campaigns have been totally successful and if I may dis-favorably add regarded by many being busybodies. Isn't there no other choice of solutions other than sending troops into these countries at the expense of the families back in USA?
Like the Middle East, I felt that the campaigns have not yielded any positive results but have made more enemies, antagonizing the international relations in both politics and the people of America.
On the failures in the international scenes, I could not but have another thought where the financial world is in today. I am wondering if America had devoted more time with its country and people, the financial crisis and even 9/11 could have been avoided?
Opportunity cost is very relative here. What do you think?

In my opinion, the strongest country had intervened to make our country to be independent. We also influenced by its culture, but there is no resentment since our country became progressive with their assistance. I may not even express myself in English language without being introduced as form of medium to communicate by them.

Unlike the Vietnam to the Middle East, I don't think your country was in any wars after WWII which require the military intervention from America.
However, I cannot help recalling how the Americans used to have a military base in a certain part of your country which though contributed some political stability, has posed quite a number of social problems as well.
Not trying to discredit their contributions but I think every country would never undermine and overlook the importance of adopting English into the education system. So, it would not be an issue as far as language stream is concern.
But like I have posted here, I am more concern with America's military involvements which has not been yielding positive results.

A seriously sensitive topic . Bold enough of you start a discussion on this topic . But actually the world would be a much better to place to live in if the american top brass mind their own business rather than trooping into other nations . It increases tension between both nations and also disturbs world harmony . Not only america , it would be really good if countries look into their own problems without actually poking their noses into others PROBLEMS .
