Conserative or Alternative Ideas?

most of the time, my ideas are not conservative. i don't mean only politically either. some people blindly follow whatever the status quo says is the conservative, traditional way of thinking. for example, the standard love of god and country (or government would be a better word), being a hard working people person, love thy neighbor no matter what, etc. some people i think don't know what their true values, morals, feelings, or thoughts are on anything. they look to the status quo in society for what is the right way to think and feel all the time. i guess there needs to be some robots in society in order to make it run right. after all, the more robots you have...the better society functions, right?

I will shout it to the rooftops - conservatism and its alternatives are strictly due to personality type, and the majority of people are of the 4 types for whom conservatism/traditionalism/conformity are simply a part of their innate personality. I would bet good money that if you did a Myers-Briggs questionnaire you would come out as Intuitive (N), and possibly introverted (I) and Feeling (F). (I) N (F) ? Lash

It is most likely that old folks can be so strictly conservative. The younger generations are more open to changes. Even I had some touch of conservative ways, but I am flexible for dealing with being not.

I think that some of my ideas would be considered conservative. I am a traditional person. None of the things you mention are things I really believe in. I think that alot of people do go with he status quo. It is just easier. I don't. I am my own person and believe in alot of things that are probably as far from the norm as the planet Mars.
