"Don't worry, we will rise again," says Pacquiao as he and wife Jinkee descended the steps of his luxurious residence near Hancock Park. This words he repeated during a televised press conference at the airport. Manny Pacquiao walked in the Los Angeles International Terminal smiling, with his head high he tells his fans that he's doing well just two days after suffering a crushing knockout loss to Juan Manuel Marquez. Pacquiao was on his way on winning his welterweight war with Marquez last weekend at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas before he was struck by a Marquez right to the jaw that put him to the canvas thus end the fight when he got careless in the dying seconds of the sixth round. After suffering back-to-back losses for the first time in his epic career, the fighting congressman will put boxing plans on hold through the holidays. Pacquiao will be joined by his adviser Michael Koncz later this week, in time for his birthday on the 17th.“Pahinga muna… pahinga, pahinga,” the boxer said. Many believes Manny should hangs his gloves now, but I believe in him that he will rise again, what can you say fellow mylotters?

It's just how he said it, boxing is a game, you win some, you lose some. This is the time in Manny's career that he's on the losing side. Good thing about Manny is he's a good loser. Even boxing great Muhammad Ali got knocked down.

Surely we will and for me Manny is still the best. We knew very well how Manny gained popularity and how he put back the name Philippine in the world top lists...

I believe in Manny's conviction. I'm sure those two straight losses would be his motivation for him to rise again. Everyone has his own ups and downs, human beings as we are. So Manny is not an exception to that. We just have to give him another chance for him to prove that life isn't always at the downside.

He needs to step down from his thrown. A serious blow by blow in his head will result to traumatic brain injury. It happens from the previous boxers, though the life story of those people had rise to its career peak, but it fall so fast. He has the choice to turn into a new leaf and find his way to early retirement. Good day!

that is the best about Filipinos. We can always pull out the positivity in every situation we are faced with... Even the most negative ones, we are able to turn them into something that we can benefit from. In many cases, we learn and we keep them in our hearts

Well I guess that is admirable for him to accept defeat and humiliation. Most boxers suffer depression and really becomes loser in life after defeat. But him, he just accepted defeat and move on with his life. I think he's looking forward to meeting his children again and get his strength back from them. Christmas is just around the corner and I think he has lots of things to do in his place with the devastation of typhoon he must exert some effort in giving help to them I think that way he would alleviate his frustrations about his defeat and focus to much more needed things in life.

yes, i also believe him. and he is right. he needs to rest for a while. well, he is again running for congress. although he is unopposed, his wife needs his support and presence to win the vice-gubernatorial contest. as always, we will rise again. but i hope it will happen soon. pacquiao has given a lot to the country. he must return in a big way. it must be in the ring.

Thinking about it now, I think that Manny would really not be giving up boxing anytime soon. I don't think that his last fight should be the one where he lost it. But I do hope that he would make a better preparation for his next fight so that he could uplift himself again as well a all his followers. I am not a fanatic of Manny but I am sure proud of him.

I couldn't agree more. I am sure that he will rise from his defeat and he will be stronger than ever. For now, he needs to take boxing at the back seat.He brought pride among Filipinos and I know he will never put us down when he returns in the ring.

I surely believe on that. And that would be a sure win. I couldn't see any wrong on Pacquiao losing the game, all I can see is his humility in accepting his defeat. What's good about Filipinos is they see the brighter side in every defeats. Definitely, this defeat will be his stepping stone on his next fight. Yes, we will rise again!
