Do you guys believe mostly affects this type of imbalance are from family unresolved problems or might say the way parents raised their sons, can you please share your opinions or any personal experiences you had encountered.

I see that any problem should be solved first hand so as not to accumulate and difficult to solve problems and not even be a barrier between the parties of the same family .. This happened to me I and my ex-husband and the result is our separation, and I said to him that leaving problems without solution will build us a wall between us and all of us we will not be able to see the other and it happend

My daughter has borderline personality disorder (bpd). One of her doctors in the past took the time to thoroughly explain it. She told me all the disorders are different and have different causes. However, bpd is caused by a combination of environmental factors AS WELL AS a chemical imbalance in the brain and/or other brain irregularities. She told me that in the case of bpd, the symptoms wouldn't ever show if both were not present. Something in the environment needed to be stressful for my daughter for this to occur. However, the same thing that stressed her out and caused her issues, happens in many homes daily. Not everyone gets bpd. Bpd will only show up in those where a stressful event occured and when the irregularities are also there.
Here are a couple sites that explain it better than I can:

Can't blame everything on those parents. Every child should grow beyond the sum of their parent's teachings or the experiences with their parents.
Life is about learning and growing as people. What do psychologically imbalanced people gain by overcoming their adversity?? The challenges in our lives help to teach us that which we do not know. Everybody learns from everyone in their lives and through all those shared events. Example: Parents teach children many things yet every parent learns lots from their children.
We should never look toward blame. Resolution is the only thing that really counts. If we take all that effort people use toward blame and focus that energy toward resolution, think how much faster the problems would disappear.

There are so many factors that will make a person manifest of having psychological imbalance. One factor you have said is an external factors. Some people could have it through the genes.
