People that Skip/Cut the line

I agree with you. If I see someone that don't have as much as I do then I will tell them to go ahead of me. But nothing makes me as mad to be standing in line for a really long time and people just cutting the line like the think they own the place. Thank you for your response.

Hi Silverfox This Skipping the line was so common here until a few years back. Thank lord, people are learning and many now dont break the Queues. I also had many a times broken the lines and that was long back, when I was at school and college. But then, there was almost everyone doing the same thing back then. Today, when I see some odd one doing that I at least raise my voice once and if the others in the line join in, things go good for all of us... and if not, still, there are only a handful of people doing this today.

I would like to break that person's leg or deliver a punch on the nose if possible so that i don't have to stay in line anymore with my line cut.

I wouldn't let people cut in line before me especially if I've been waiting like forever. It wouldn't be fair to try and cut in front of people who may have been waiting for minutes or hours. Shame on you for convincing them to let you cut . What do you say to get them to let you in line, maybe I should try your tactic in long lines. Lol.

In my own opinion, cutting a long line is unfair. The others are there falling in line waiting for their turn restlessly, mostly i'm sure have also other things to do after falling in that line but they still patiently wait for their turn. I myself don't do it, I don't cut line, When I see a cue, I go to the end of the line and wait for my turn patiently. If someone cuts it, i feel quite irritated not only for myself but for the other in line as well. Especially if the person cutting the line is able and in good fit (like, he's not physically disabled, not a senior citizen, etc. cases wherein there's no special line for them), I would feel irritated. But I am not the type though that would immediately tell the person that he's being unfair for going and cutting the line, i would just feel bad and pray that someone would tell him he's doing it wrongly. On the other hand, if the line is short and someone is really in a hurry and has a few transactions only, for example in a grocery store perhaps, he's just going to pay for one or two items, and I am going to pay for like 19 items, i usually let him go first, it's okay with me. Depends on the situation.

I hate those people, I wish they self-discipline. I would confront him or her right away. It should be corrected, I've been in the line and suddenly cut by someone. Good day!

In the bank there are two lines. One is the ordinary one and another one is priority line for priority premier clients of the bank or senior citizens. We just hate it when people cut the queue because I believe in 'first come first serve' basis. Everybody's time is valuable too. In your case is different because you have privilege - you have friend that works there! Nowadays. our local bank using Qmatic that is base on queue number. The digital board will instruct the holder of the given number to go to the next available allocated counter. No fuss of cutting queue ...

I wouldn't mind if it was an old man or lady. But otherwise, I wouldn't let anyone go ahead of me when I have had a long time standing in line.

I don't like it.I often come across long queaue and people standing behind others waiting restlessly for their turn.Sometimes I find myself standing behind all others.I have also seen some people jumping the line to get their work done even if it is not their turn.If someone tries to jump the line,I object and generally others in the line follow suit.They too protest.

I wouldn't mind because i do that sometimes when I'm in a hurry. So I will think that the person is in the same situation. But other people are also in a hurry and their patience is not that long that's why they're angry. Even in grocery stores, I do not feel angry if someone wants to go first and their just using basket and I'm using a cart as long as they ask me nicely and properly.
