Hi youless:)
Is that so? We just bought a charger like that, is that the universal charger?
I like my original charger but it's defective now so my husband bought me a universal charger. I don't like it because I still have to remove the battery but when I read your post I think I'm going to like it now:)

I never heard of universal chargers. Can we get them any where? Can we use them for Nokia phones.

I charge it directly because they said if you keep taking out the battery there is tendency the it will loosen and the cellphone get affected. I turned it off and charge. I will use it if it's already full.

I don't take the battery out when charging my mobile phone. I charge it directly. To charge it directly is faster than to charge it with a charger for the battery only. Also when we buy the mobile phone, the provider does not provide us customers with an extra battery. If the battery is taken out, we will miss some incoming calls and text messages. That is why I prefer direct charging. Thanks for the discussion.

Yeah, I think it is better to charge it indirectly. But it is not accessible if that's the case. I am more on charging it directly but I see to it that I'll not use it while charging. There is also a precaution before charging the cellphone. When the cellphone is ringing don't answer the call because it takes millions of radiation as the battery of cellphone is about to drain.

Hi youless, just opposite, I dislike to take out the battery to get it chareged using an external charger. I'm the lazy type of person , like to do thing in simple and easy way. I have to charge the backup bettry via external charger before going on vacation. The fully charged battery is not enough for me to play games and listening to music during the long distance journey. My hubby have bought a battery power station recently. The fully stored energy can get the battery charged directly to the phone without conecting to a ac suply. The energy of the device can get two batteries fully charged. Quite convenient to have it in places where ac socket is not available
Happy posting

Any phone I have owned just came with a plug in wall charger and a suitable connector plug for the Job..I've never gone to the trouble of buying a charging unit to be able to charge a battery out of the phone.I don't believe in taking the phone apart to get at the battery so as to save wear and tear on the casing..My car has a 12v socket, and I've bought car accessory phone chargers to be able to charge up when on the road, and I recently bought a USB backup battery too..

I had a 5 year old iPhone that was still working, before I drown it in a glass of tea. Even then, it came back to life... but the battery life wasn't as long as it was when it was new.
I ran no apps on it, had no music, played no games.
My new iPhone has better battery life, but again, I use it as a phone, calendar, alarm clock and internet access when I can't get to my computer, I have no apps on it.

Youless, i charge my cellphone directly when the battery is only left around 20%. I never answer my cellphone while charging it directly to the main switch. I didn't take out the battery from the cellphone and use a charger to charge it. I heard from my uncle that it will make the battery cover loose and long term it can't hold the battery well in its casing. I will only take out the battery for charging when i wanted to exchange it with another new battery.

I just used to charge the phone directly, not only me but my family members too. Still now we don't find any problem while we charge the phone in such a manner. I think I can keep on going with it, because I don't find any problem still now.

I take out battery and charge it at cellphone battery charger because my cellphone charging port have a problem. It cannot detect it when i charging using charger adapter. I dont know it have a stronger radiation when we charge directly. Thanks for sharing that information.

For as long as the battery indicator shows that I am low in power, I just connect my phone to the charger and charge it. I do not remove the battery as it is quite hassle. Moreover, I cannot do it on my phone as I am using an iPhone.

I charge the battery up directly, and I wait until I get the battery low warning before I charge it, and then I sue the adapter and charge it that way instead of using the computer. I have always done it that way, and have never had any problems with it at all. I guess we all do it differently, , but I choose to charege it up directly without removing it from the phone. Take care, and have a good day.
