For those who don't know of the mass murders at a school here
in the USA.please consult the internet and you can read the
entire story as it unfolds...
But its a terrible situtation when you send your child to school
thinking everything is already and this sort of killing happens.
My heart is sadden with grief for the families of these childrens
between 4-10 years olds and teachers were shot/killed...
No words can express this terrible feeling I have in my tummy
right now..

Hi bjc.
Well that is really a very sad news. But why is it that such mass killing in schools and colleges happen only in US ? How are the schools there different from the ones in other countries. I pray to god to give strength to the parents of the children . I can not imagine what they might be going through right now. And I seriously hope that such incidents do not happen in future..

Well there are many other such incidents of mass killing. I do not exactly remember but the time but I guess it was not more than two years back when a person went on mass killing firing at people in random who had gathered for some camp or something. So what is the development regarding this unfortunate incident. Anyways have a nice day ...

I know for a fact that though, this is only one particular incident I can remember, there was one school shooting in Canada back around the late 1980's or so when a man shot down a number of women going to either college or university. And I would think there are others but that is all I can think of at the moment.

Yes, it is a terrible and horrifying event happened lately in Connecticut State's school. It is a day of mourning for many parents and another day of grief for the nation with another repeated school massacre across the land. We are still waiting for the story unfold piece by piece from the internet and our home TV screen. School massacre had nearly become a weekly event across USA now, something ned to be done immediately and quickly by the respective government agency before more children are killed in this country.

I just read it now and I am so shocked at the magnanimity of the crime. This insane killing must be stopped NOW before another one will happen again. Everyone should be on the lookout for the next or possible killer. Know your neighbors, know your own family members and report or do something if you notice something weird.

It is really really awful and I felt bad to the parents, teachers, and especially to the children affected by such massive and unpredicted killing. Hearing the news really shocked me. Those children supposedly enjoying their lives to the fullest. I will just pray for the souls of them and pray also that this will not happen ever again. They are now in God's embrace.

I almost do not really know what to say about this subject. It really made me truly sad to hear about lives lost in such a cruel way. Hearing the accounts of the personal stories of what one of the kids went through on the TV, that was pretty emotional. He said that he was in the hallway and he heard bullets flying around and then some teacher pulled him into her classroom into safety. And they heard someone banging, trying to get into their class. It all sounded very scary.
This all takes me back to when I was about 8 or 9, and Columbine had happened. We heard about it while we were at school if I am not mistaken, which made it extra freaky.
Anyhow, I will have a special prayer and keep them all in my thoughts tonight.

The slaughter of the innocents, that is sickening, horrifying and scary, what is happening to our world, to society? When you can't even send your child to school without subjecting them to this kind of danger, where will it all end? How can this happen. Such a waste of life, young and old in this terrible news

Yes wolfie, such a waste...its just terrible...Its really
hard to imagine how these parents feel of both the deceased
and the ones who witnessed this...
The children who were excorted out of the school was advised
by there teacher and police personel to cover their faces as
they passed the deceased children ...OMG!!!!!

Most of the time I think that it's more about the health system than trying to up the security. Why do I say this? Let's look back at the mass shootings at Virginia Tech. There were also lots of deaths but the shooter showed signs and symptoms of mental illness that were not address adequately. The professors could tell that the guy was disturbed and something was wrong with his but he did not receive treatment. I think that making sure to catch these troubled people and giving them treatment could have potentially saved lives. Not just his life but the lives he would take.

That is terrible , I cant imagine the pain the families are going through right now . Someone going into a school , taking 27 life and 20 of them are just children .
What make that person commit such and unforgivable sin .
Its just the other day , I was seeings a US story of a man in a store that shot some people and then kill himself .
Why are people doing these things , how could they look at children and shoot them .

I have read this fb status from a friend who lives in US. Her family is from Oregon and days ago there was a shooting incident too at a mall near their place. And today she posted this one. This is really sick. I wonder why people are doing this. Are they out of their mind? No conscience at all? These are kids whom may have a bright future but was just stolen by a psycho. My heart goes out to the families of the victims.

Just today I got the news from yahoo. After I read the news online, my heart just dropped. I pity on those little children. So small, very young and adorable, and yet so fast had to go off. I hope they all will be in heaven and may you all little ones rest in peace. It seems like more and more litle angels and saints in heaven because getting more and more children are getting killed if you really go through the newspaper or even on the internet. The person that kill them must be got something very wrong up there. I mean his brain. His brain had a technical problem and really need a serious maintenance.

It's very terrible incident. I don't know how their parents will digest such incident. It's time to think about the fact behind such incidents.
We call ourselves as developed but we are degrading everyday by humanity.
