I do believe that women are so fun of wearing make ups. In some point, they do need to have the sense of being appropriate in terms of time of the day. I just saw a woman, she is really pretty but the sad thing, it is in mid-afternoon and the make up she used is starting to melt on her face. Mind you guys, it is in the local market. I feel bad for her, she seems so conscious and she might be thinking that it is so troublesome. Ladies any thoughts?

Haha I always think the make up melts in face is really terrible, and as a boy,I do not like girls in a heavy make up,but a little thin make up is acceptable and it looks great with thin make up definitely.

Maybe she has a skin condition she's trying to hide and she thinks the heavier makeup does that better.

Well, since I am a man, of course, are perhaps a little excluded from this discussion, maybe mostly aimed at a female audience.
However, in a few words I can say that maybe a woman who wears makeup by mid-afternoon, he realizes that the trick then melts in the face, and learn from this experience to avoid next time.
I believe that for a woman who likes to make up her face, perhaps the times more appropriate are, parties, gala dinners, or appointments.
However, it is the same person who needs to know when is the right time to be able to make up!

I think some people try so much to cover up what they are think are imperfections that they get a bit heavy with what they are using and don't understand how bad they look in the light of day when others see them.

For me i don't think its appropriate. If its too sunny or we sweat a lot then all the make up just go off with the sweat . Rest we know what happens . we look the most horrible and no one will be able to recognize us. hehe .
ahha so the women already faced it. Of course that's what happen when we do things without any conscious. we have to face it. But frankly speaking too much of make up even hides our beauty.

I do not like heavy makeup. I mostly go out in natural look with light makeup. Even to go to a party I always try to come in natural make up.
Well, take the positive side, maybe the woman you saw had just returned from work, where at her work she had to apply full make up.

Well, as I understand, for women there is a simple make-up and even heavy make up. I believe, from what you have read in my comment that women should use heavy make up, only in certain circumstances.
And if a woman likes to wear makeup every day, she can always choose classic make-up daily.

yes that may be the reason she may have job related thing with make up. There could be so many reasons . some are really interested with heavy make up all the time. I have a friend she is so much interested in wearing make up. Early morning she just wear it even if she is at home. so it differs from person to person.

I love wearing make up, But not to the point where instead of looking more beautiful, you will look like you've been hit in the face or a hooker. It's okay to wear heavy make up just as long as it is appropriate on the place you are in to or when you have a big evening party you need to go to. But on the middle of the day where the light can hit you directly on the face., heavy make up will not help you look pretty on this time of the day.

Local market? as in palengke? I think wearing make up sometimes is necessary especially if your job compels you to do so. I work in a fastfood restaurant as a cashier and it's a rule that we must wear makeup. The more, the better. It's in our job. But if it's just going to the mall or at the park, then heavy makeup doesn't look appropriate at all.

Ah I hate moments like that. I don't actually wear makeup since I get allergies by using cosmetics on my face.
But who knows the local market may be the place she didn't expect to be in that day, maybe she just landed there unplanned.

I think that the bast way to wear make up during the day is having a lighter make up. one should look as natural as possible with just a hint of color on the cheeks and lips. Heavy make up should only.be worn at night.

oh yes, it is nice to put make up on. It is nice to walk confidently with it on. i can't go out without my lipstick on. I mean, it is just like an everything on me, without it I feel like going out with underwear. However, wearing make up is also a responsibility, making sure that it will be a + factor and not a - one. Maybe the woman did not know the humidity the place will take place. Or she hasn't brought any for retouch. that's quite an embarrassing experience. grrr... I am sure she has learned her lessons here.

For my part,I seldom make up.I feel it very uncomfortable for it is just like something sticky on my face. And I also afraid of the feeling that makeup melt away. However,my friend always reminds me of light make-up for it is a way to respect others. And now I just make up before I have made sure the hangout time.If it is several hours,I will wear a light makeup;but if is all the day,I never to do such a thing.Actually a melt makeup is more ugly than a face without makeup.

Wearing make -up is a personal preference so it should not be seen as not appropriate. She might have had a really important event to go to. However she chose to wear it was her choice; although I do agree with the saying that less is more, when it comes to wearing make-up.

Heavy makeup is inappropriate for ANY time of day, in my opinion, unless it's worn by an actress, a model, or any woman attending some formal event. Like you, I'd find it odd for a woman to wear so much on a regular day that it makes her look worse & feel embarrassed. There's a solution to that: wipe a lot of it off.

Well I am a woman but I have never gotten into the make-up
like that,,,I occasionally were eye liner or mascara but
thats it...I don't need that stuff caked on my face for any
reason...so I don't use it..
Some women wear so much stuff on their face that it just looks
terrible and then there some that wear so little its hard to
even be able to determine if they are wearing it or not..
I think less is better....
