I don't know why I'm so popular but I'm invited to all kinds of parties this week.
I got a baby shower and 2 Christmas parties to go to this week and next week is my girlfriends 50th Birthday and it falls on January 1st, so there's a big New Years Party.
Do you have a busy Holiday schedule?

Sadly,I'm not popular at all. I haven't been invited to any Christmas parties(except church which I missed.) or New Year's parties or showers or get together's. Every year the same old thing..just another year older. I love Christmas time don't get me wrong it's just kids are growing up and are no longer satisfied with the gifts they get unless they are $50 a piece and up and expect $500-$600 a piece. In today's economy we can't afford that.So..I will quietly sit at home and do what I always do..no plans except to see more Doctors..

Sorry to hear that...I will stay home for New Years like I have been for the last 4 years.
It just hasn't been the same, lots of friends moved or broke up so there are no more Parties at peoples houses like they used to be.

Actually, so far it seems like this year is going to be the most laid back Christmas season that we've ever experienced. You see, in the past we've always had several different Christmas parties to attend with various different parts of our family. But instead of jamming it all into just a couple of days this year, it is going to be a little bit more spread out. In addition to that, I also don't know if we will have the opportunity to visit with my dad's siblings this year or not.

Well, I made it through the first party Sunday night...it was rough going to work Monday.
Now I have a Party at our local bar Thursday night ( I was smart enough to take Friday off for that 1 ), then another Christmas Party from a co-worker Saturday night.
Thank God I be off for 5 days

I don't think I have any company from Germany next year so all the vacations I take will be just me and my honey, even though I miss my folks course usually somebody comes every year

Oh that's really nice to attend friends and relatives parties.
Yes, I had this experience last month.
My friends treated me a lot of surprises on my birthday.
One of my friends made an advance birthday party one week before my birthday.
Another friend throws a simple party on my birthdate and one friend gifted me a surprise dinner concert ticket with the Airsupply a week after my birthday

You've got a hectic Holiday! But that is good. At least you know that you are loved by a lot of people. Well, I don't think that we could be that busy. Haven't receive any invitation from friends for any Christmas get together with high school friends. The usual Family Reunion that we have no longer happens coz most of our relatives are now in California.

Hi missybear.
I am very happy to see that you are going to have lot of fun this winter. For me, it could have been a busy winter if I was at my home but unfortunately that is not the case. I am stuck at my college and we do not have any holidays. Planning a weekend out with friends is all I can think of now. May be next year I can go home for x-mas at least. Anyways have a nice day...
