Friday is International Buy Nothing Day. A day designed to remind people that "we are not born to shop." Our culture is one revolving so much around consumerism and the buy, buy, buy mentality. I went to the stores a little on friday. Mainly just to get in the holiday mood, not to do any serious shopping.

I am a little late on this, but thanks! I was crazy and let my neighbor talk me in to going to the outlet mall in SC. Tax free weekend and Christmas sales. It was so crowded and you had to wait an hour in line in each store. NOT A JOKE! An hour at least each store. It was horrible. This was at midnight when my patience was wearing thin. What a mess.
