I really hate such maniac's who are really not worth working in a good company.
There are some Creatures "so called human/bosses", who comes in office to make your life miserable, while they would be sitting in their chair and relaxing the whole day .
You must have been through such situations where you see that your boss expects you to do his share of work while he is busy in his personal work or something, or may be some of your office colleagues must be saying something about you in your bosses ears to show how much they care for him.
At times I feel like kicking such B**tards to death.
Guys you must have felt the same sometimes or the other. What was that incident which made you think in such a way, and if given a chance how will you teach them a lesson..?

Hello Rober,
Thank you for the reply.
Certainly the only option which remains is to move on and look for a better opporunity
As they say , It´s better to have a bad job with a good Boss rather than a good job with a bad boss.
thanks again and have a pleasant day ahead

You should really not let these people get the best of you or take you away from a good job. View them as people in pain.

Hello Amy, Thanks for the comment.
That´s true that you shouldn´t allow such people to ruin things , but then sometimes they are just so annoying that they keep interfering in your job and makes things more difficult , no matter how much you try to ignore them and give them hint that you don´t need them but like a shamless prick, they keep on doing what they enjoy.

They think because they are in such a position it gives them carte blanche to sit on their backsides, bark out orders and expect to be treated with respect! Some bosses cease to be humans and it's the power that goes to their head, it's the way they speak to you in a patronizing way, usually without manners, and you are expected to take it without argument if you want to keep your job. I once had a boss who would actually treat his staff like children and yet he was younger than most of the workforce, he was a nasty piece of work for sure.

hi fren,
So didn't you or any of your staff thought of teaching him a lesson.I think we should always think for a diplomatic way to teach such bosses a lesson. And why can't bosses be like a normal person and behave with their employees in a descent way,or is it the position they are worried of. Might be thinking that if they behave normal then we might sit on their head ..
is it so..?

You I have a pretty horrible boss at one of my restaurant jobs and there are also a lot of snotty and complaining people that work there as well. Some of them complain so much that they just bring you down even when you are having a really good day. It gets kind of annoying having people complain about every thing that is wrong because a lot of things never change.
My boss is also an extremely cheap and horrible boss. A lot of people there don't get enough hours and our wages are horrible. I've been working there for five years and the most I make there is 8.65 an hour. He also complains to me about my work about insignificant things and has yelled at me for stupid things that I didn't even do. He also just makes himself look so stupid all the time, he orders way too much food for our inventory and we are constantly throwing food away daily.
The managers can be pretty bad there sometimes too. I've been threatened with write-ups there for incredibly stupid things when there are employees that are clearly doing things wrong each day and they never get threatened with a write-up.
All I can say is that I really look forward to not having to go into that place anymore or rely on it for money.

hello there,
I feel really sad for you my fren, Because I can understand how it feels when you get scolded for things which you haven't done. But can't help it, we have to listen to such morons as its our daily bread and butter.
At times if we tell them that they are doing something wrong, they will start taking it in a negative way saying that now u'll teach me how to manage things and stuffs. Sometimes I really feel like shouting and telling them in front of all the staff that how dumb he/she is.
Anyways my fren, if you are working in a restaurant it must really a tough job for you.listening to customers and their silly complaints and stuffs.
So do you still work there and what do you do , I mean education or something like that..?

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Yes u are absolutely right, these persons are very annoying and they just get over your nerves like anything. There are some colleagues who cannot stand u as they are jealous of you and hence they keep on talking behind your back. Besides office life becomes terrible if the bosses do not cooperate with the employees and they pressurize the employees to work overtime. I think they think that they are superior in their organization and hence they show off.
What say?

hi subhojit,
ya true. As an employee we expect that a fair chance should be given to everyone so that they can show their skills and do something for the company,But unfortunately our immediate seniors take the credit for it.
dont you feel like telling that guy "you moron, you do not deserve this place and you should be sitting next to a beggar on the roadside asking for money if you can't earn it ".
Seriously i wish these bosses should realize the value of an employee and how much efforts they take to bring the company up..
if given a chance how would you teach your boss a lesson if he does something wrong ...?

What are you talking about is very similar with my former boss, and that is the reason why I quited my job,my former boss always push me with some impossible mission, and always blame me,but he treat other subordinates very good so I think that he may be do not like me and those impossible missions are the excuses to push me to quit.

hello fren,
Its really sad to know that you had to leave your job because of this. Yes its true, it does happens that a boss at times does not like some faces in the office, may be for any other reason, but that does not give them the right to push us with some impossible or difficult task.
And on top of it, they will make a big issue out of it and will shout at you in front of other staff members. Just to show how particular they are in terms of work .
So didn't you say something to him while leaving the job. You should have made him realize his mistake, so that he shouldn't be doing with some other poor person.

I have been working with more than ten companies to date.
Some bosses are so understanding and kind but some are
'beyond description'. I have worked with a couple (bosses)
and they have this strategy where one act as good guy and
one as bad guy. The wife who acted the bad guy used to scream
at the staff. The husband who acted good guy (in actual fact
also a bad guy) treated his factory worker as 'not human'!
Their staff walk out / resigned within a week, a month and
some only work for one day! These type of bosses do not deserve
good employees and I believe employees should look for employers
who believe in team work and appreciate their staff.
We deserve a better boss!

HI THERE,
Thanks for the comment,And i can understand what u might have gone through. Well in this case if both the couple are the employers, then god be with the worker and the official team.At times we are helpless to continue the job as we dont hve any other option at that time. But At times even i think why can't we behave like the way we want instead of pretending to be good to them. sometimes we really dont feel like talking to such bosses but because of work, we have to..
I've been working as a design engg in a manufacturing company, and i've started facing such problems. There are some dumb people who play politics to show how good they are and they think that we can't understand it. But i wish i could give them a nice answere in their own way so that they should think 10 times before doing something wrong..
how would you teach you boss a lesson if given a chance..?

There really are "power tripping" bosses. And we couldn't do anything about it most especially if they really do their jobs well.

I don’t like the fact, that in such working space there is favoritism over the boss and the employees, sometimes such people are taking advantage of the situation just to get attention from the boss resulting to a good sight on their performance even though they are really not working.
If I am in such situation, I would be very frank to my boss that he/she has enough in the task he/she is giving me and tell him/her what my job position is, and not that I am an extension of what supposed to be his/her work.
