If you ever happen to meet God, what is the first thing you will say to him?

I vividly remember that I was asked the same question in an impromptu speech contest in college. I answered, if ever I encounter the presence of God. The first thing I will say, why do people fight. The mere fact, they are brothers and sisters. It is a simple answer but I got a great impact from the audience and the judges. How about you?

The first thing that will be said is praises and thankfulness for everything he has provided for me.

Are you serious?
Sounds abit selfish to me.
Im pretty sure that whatever you have managed to get in life, you can thank yourself for it. Give yourself some credit!

I would ask him about his experiences. Tell me stories. From his viewpoint. I would want to get into his head and get to know this person. If he is a person.

Fist thing that I have to tell him is Happy Birthday! It's His birthday several days from now. Of course giving thanks for all the blessings could be thing that I would want to tell Him. But not now I think.
Have a nice day!

If that day does arrive, I think I would be opening both my eyes and look with anticipation who he really is. On that day, I suppose all will be clear who He really is and I wonder what will happen with the rest of the world especially the false or misleading religions. It will be an extremely emotional day for the whole world and I would really be sad if I am on His wrong side and bad books.
If I am right, I will probably plead for my friends and fellow myLotters who are in His bad books. Likewise, I hope my friends will do the same for me if I am on the wrong side. The next thing I'd like to request would be to have a tour around heaven to see what it is really like.

"I wish I'd really, really, really given You everything, every moment of every day ... Oh, What am I saying? It would help if I'd really, really, really given You something (other than just my sins; but thank You that you have taken those)!" But perhaps I wouldn't say that! God alone knows what I would say.

I'll cry in front of him, the feeling of being lost for someone you love, someone you haven't seen for a very long time that you had experienced so much stress and pain to see him and think of him that you just can't get out of my mind and tell him how much I needed you, I will cry that as if i can't open my mouth to say any word, that i don't have the authority to say that who are you?, why you just came out all of sudden, or begging for something you want, but only to say God my only saviour my only strength, my only one who will be my loved God and will glorify will be and forever will be.

I would perhaps tell him 'Thank you for finding me and coming to see me personally'. I am sure it is going to be the best day of my life if this were ever to happen. :)

I will firstly thank Him for dying on the cross for my sins. I will also thank Him for accepting me and loving me. I will also thank Him for being a Gracious God of second chances. Wonderful to think that one day we will all see Him eye to eye, hey!

If I was to meet God I think the very first thing that would come to my mind of course just like when you pray is to ask him to forgive me for all my sins and help me become a better person. i would probably then ask questions that have to do with why the world like this why did it come to this

I would thank him for the all the blessings he bestowed upon me and my family and for all the second, third and even fourth chances he has given me..People will be fighting till the earth is destroyed. As long as they are jealousy, envy, cheating, thievery, and killings they will be fighting..

If I were to meet Him, then I would just have to say thank you! Thank you for nature, animals and for making us too.

Talking about God really makes me cry. And I have also thought of your question so many times before. And I have thought that the first thing that I am going to tell him is thanks. Thanks for giving me a chance to see life and be able to feel love and be loved.

If ever I meet God the first thing I will say to Him is a simple "Hi! How is your heart? Are you still in pain?" We all know that He sent His only son for us to be save and the question is, "Are we worthy for it?" He might be in pain seeing His beloved creatures fighting, making bad things and it's like they don't even care if He sees us and it causes pain to Him.
