The new blogging site called it bubblews . All their registered member from the Philippines are banned . They discriminate Filipinos maybe because they have a huge amount of Filipino registered user. No words from the admin why they just ban all filipinos is there is one violating their rules may be not all it just an isolated .

It is because Filipino members have been warned time and time again and again to quit spamming and violating the rules, and the majority of Filipino members ignored the warnings and kept violating the rules. It was making the site slow down and unpleasant for everyone. I do not think they should have banned all Filipinos: only the ones violating the rules, but I do understand why they did it.

by banning the whole filipino user are a overwhelmed decision. It like everyone inside Philippine are doing the spamming. the one user cause of action made terribly consequences. The management of bubblew should take it lightly as banning whole IP address are just not considerable option. Spamming is inevitable . It may only for temporary if philippine people willing to send support ticket to them asking to opening again the website gateway for all users. maybe try it every month

If you can contact them, why don't you do so and ask why the ban.

But yes, your suggestion is indeed very helpful. And should have been done by some members. Instead of instantly jumping to their own conclusions. That the site has banned the entire Philippine members.
It just saddens me that some of these members "sing" praises for Bubblews as long as they can receive their payments and can access the site. But at the first sign of trouble, they jump to this conclusion.
When the staff has already clearly stated that the problem is not solely focused on the Philippines. They complain most of the time. If you could have seen the Facebook page of Bubblews, their comment boxes are mostly filled with complaints.
But if they have just taken the time to read the whole section of the comment box, they would have seen what the staff have earlier stated.
I just hope that this "Oh no! Bubblews has banned us!" will go away eventually. It just adds unnecessary worries for the other members who do try their best to patiently wait for the updates.

It's just very sad that some members who used to claim Bubblews should be trusted, are the first ones to turn their backs on the site at the first sign of trouble. By trouble, I meant having difficulty accessing the site.
They easily make assumptions that the site has banned the entire Filipino members. Just because they couldn't log in for days.
First of all, Bubblews staff has already posted a statement regarding the reason why their support team seems to lag behind. The explanation was very clear and acceptable. Plus they have already posted a comment in their Facebook page that it wasn't just the Philippine members who are dealing with log in issues. Some regions of the world also has this problem.
The mere fact that the Bubblews team bother to post those updates should have been enough to put the worries at rest.
And just to update whoever answers to this thread, the staff has posted another update in their Facebook page. Stating that they are working so hard and to their maximum capabilities to make the site work a way lot better for EVERYONE.
Thus, the reason for some regions including the Philippines having log in issues. That is the ONLY reason. No one is getting banned unlesss they deserve it.

Thanks for the information. Since I don't participate in Bubblews and have never heard of it until this discussion, I thought my suggestion was as good as any.

No one's being banned or blocked by the Bubblews team for the sole reason of their Filipino heritage. They do ban or terminate the account of the member who is clearly guilty of violating the site's rules.

That is what I also I feel about bubblews. It is not only filipino who violate the rules and besides, their rules is so confusing. The rules in TOS is so incomplete. You'll be surprised that the other rules is post on bubblews archieve which is difficult for some members to see and how can we blame those violators if the rules is hard to find? If they commit mistake, they're the one to blame.

The Bubblews staff has already posted a comment in their Facebook page. Stating that it's not only our country who's having access issues. If they are going to ban our country, I believe they will do so with a formal statement and an explanation.
But banning a whole country without a valid reason is going against their own rules. They have clearly stated that they only ban members who are clearly guilty of violating their rules.

I think that this is unfair but can you blame the site owner? I think no, it is his discretion and to protect the website for further harassment. Also, there really few Filipinos who are abusive but i am not saying all Filipinos do that. I really hope though that the site owner will later on change his mind, Filipino online community is also good for business because we are very intelligent, hardworking and loyal.

I am late to this discussion. Actually, it was happened before because lots of Filipinos didn't stop violating the rules as per the moderator and some veteran members of the site but the banned was left after all. Lots of foreigner members are here in the Philippines so they cannot banned the Philippine IP's

If it is true that this site is banning Philippines and Filipinos from accessing their site, then I think they are not going to prosper their maximum potential. You know why? Filipinos are among the most expressive people in the world. Facebook will not be that big if not for the Filipinos adding to their site traffic. Nokia, the cellphone company, will not be that successful if not for Filipinos loving of text messaging. So, if it is true they're banning us, then I think they are making a big mistake.

That's why I'm curious as to how did the idea of banned Filipino members come about. When the Bubblews team has CLEARLY stated no one has been banned nor blocked. Unless of course for those who violated the rules.

This is the statement that the Bubblews team have posted in their Facebook page:
Bubblews.com
December 22
Greetings community,
We have been very busy and working hard to complete all of the new infrastructure behind Bubblews.com. Certain regions where we have intense traffic from are still offline while we work quickly to complete these changes. Do not worry, we have not banned or blocked anyone - all posts, points, etc are still there.
It is important that we do this in a step-by-step manner, to ensure that that the website will continue to be up (and at these blazing speeds), especially with the Holidays coming up.
With that said, we are working through the weekend and hope to have access restored to EVERYONE Sunday, but Monday at the absolute latest.
We appreciate your patience to those users still without access, but please understand that once this is complete the website will be extremely stable and fast.
Sincerely,
Your Bubblews Team
