During the summer, i debated whether to take summer school to further my studies or should my parents send me to another country to have a vacation? On one hand, i wanted to get more experience and get out of school quicker. On the other, i havent seen my grandparents in a while. What should i do?

When I was a university student the summer holiday lasted from June to September. I went one year to Kenya for the beach and safari budget style. The next year I went to Israel and Jordan. In the following year I had less money so just went to Germany and Austria. I am glad that I did that then because if I had waited any longer I would have been too old to stay in youth hostels in Bavaria.
You might feel burned out with your energy levels if you do the summer school. A vacation in another country would be something you deserve after studying so hard. It would also be lovely for you to see your grandparents. Good luck deciding.

Frankly speaking, I like going to school. Looking back the old days, I'm so eager to have a class, even having summer classes. My aim is to finish my studies on time and I don't want to be left behind. I will not do anything if taking vacation for summer.

That's a hard decision. If I were you, I would take advantage of the opportunity to travel and visit your grandparents. Or perhaps you could take a three-week course (or a shorter summer course, if your school offers it), and get the best of both worlds. Best of luck to you in your decision, though, as it seems like a tough one!

I think you should go to school instead, since you can finish school earlier and after that you can do whatever you want. You can contact your grandparents in another way and just see them on skype or something.. And taking breaks can sometimes make you forget stuff from school.

Hi LastBrother.
Well it depends on lots of things. It is really difficult to suggest unless I know your details. Only way I can say something is when I imagine myself having the same dilemna. If I was you, I would have gone abroad because I have not been outside the country ever. And given the tough schedule that I have, I am in need of a break. Anyways have a nice day and enjoy your vacations anyways...

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well i can understand your situation and i know u must be very much confused regarding what to do and what to skip. i would like to advise u that u should carry with your journey and meet your grandparents and while u are on your journey u can carry some study materials with u so that u can stay in touch with your studies. I know u wont feel like studying during the journey but rather than wasting your time during your travel u can study a bit and make up your time.
What say?
