Life is wonderful and it allows you to meet new people and new things. To create opportunies if you work hard.So why not give yourself a chance to realize the dream. You really need to be enouraged. So cheer up if you feel depressed.Everything will turn better.

I understand what you mean and can relate to what you are saying. Sometimes I feel that way about my life. I hope that you are able to find things to do that you enjoy. Start enjoying a hobby more. I know that I have recently decided to set aside more time for myself. To spend time with friends and to do the things that I enjoy most.

I think this is saying that when our work is something we enjoy then we will be wealthy, but not necessarily in a physical sense. It is important that our work have value to us. That we enjoy it and then we will be able to be content and satisfied with being able to provide our needs.

Merry Christmas, first Dominique! Thanks for sharing your own life experience and thoughts. I do have no hobby now. But I had. Now my biggest hobby is to run business. But failure and setback make me pause. I once read that "to do what your enjoy first, and you are to be weathy", do you agree with it? If so, how do you apply it?

I can only speak for myself.. I have had a lot of action in my life, many different kind of jobs, problems etc.. but sooner or later I also feel as if every day is the same. Actually I think it is. The older I get the more I discover that nothing really has changed. Although I did do a lot I am still returning back to the start after some years. I also discovered that I feel most alive if I am under pressure or have to fight for something. I am good at that if it comes to it. But it's not really what I want or can afford since that kills my health more and more (although I try to live a healthy life in every way). My mind is way more active as my body. I think it's enough. The problem is we all are raised to be someone, to do something, to improve. Improving, developing is a good thing but not endlessly. there should be a time we accept who we are, be happy we have peace, silence, us to live with. Enjoy that instead of feeling pressure day after day from ourselves and society because we need to change, need to be succesfull. BTW it's easy to have a different life, quit your job and leave, go travelling by foot for 1 year or so. I think you will get to know your real you, be way happier if you return.

"I also discovered that I feel most alive if I am under pressure or hae to fight for something." I like this sentence. I had the same feeling when I was under heavy pressure some monthes ago.
I love this saying "There should be a time we accept who we are, be happy we have peace, silence, us to live with"!
But I can't go for footing right now, coz I face serious fanancial problem now. :-)

My friend, life will be a fruitful one if you can just divert some of your attentions to social activities. It will boost again your passion, I admit it is not good working in a company if it is monotonous in nature. Merry Christmas!

Sometimes a monotonous life can drain a person. What inspires me is to be able to do volunteer work, by following the example of my parents.
My dad had a high pressure job that he really didn't like. Nut he was good at what he did, and it provided for our family. What gave him joy was when he was doing volunteer work. His company sponsored a sports team for teenage boys. He would attend as many games as possible. He wasn't there just to be a representative for the company, he was there to give support to each teenage boy on that team. My dad also contributed his money and time to other charities. That is what gave him joy, even though his job often just drained him. He sought to give in ways that would bring joy to others and by doing so, it gave him joy.

Well, shouldn't you be glad about it? A lot of people are looking for work that does not have loads of pressure like the kind of job you have. Anyway, as the saying goes, the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. If you are getting good pay why look for another work? You can find other diversions outside of work. Be a member of a gym or any social club for that matter in order to perk up your life.
