It was the eve of Christmas so naturally we were the whole evening. After the party, we went home and slept at around 2 a.m. already. Guess what? Very early in the morning a series of carolers were already going from house to house asking for something. Of course I was so dead tired so I did not bother to get up. Don't they know that it was the morning after X'mas eve and people would naturally be tired and still sleeping? Couldn't they do their caroling at a later time like around lunch? Did you have a similar experience? Were you awakened by early morning carolers?

I've never had carolers come around. Although I wouldn't mind, too early in the morning could possibly lead me to be a little crabby. I'd prefer 10-11am. I'd at least get a little sleep and people will more than likely still be at home.

Hi Kit! Yeah, 10 would be fine for carolers. You must be living far from carolers.

We don't get carolers come round here, never have done, I have never really thought about it to be honest. Unless it's for a good cause, it is a type of begging. I guess it's not much of a tradition in our part of the world.

Hi Happy Christmas You may be right. But there is a point. They have to start in the morning then they can cover all the houses or maximum houses.
