Last weekend,I came to see my parents.Their workplace about 15 kilometres away from my dormitory. In general ,it is close. But the truth is I spent 1.5 hours on this trip.I calculated that bus travel time costed one third of the total time ,which means it taken me 1 hour to wait the bus line.I couldn't bear it.

For me,it is definitely true, when you are waiting for a bus, it seems to come to the bus station so slow, but if you are waiting for another one, the previous bus always comes to your front.

I hate waiting for transportation. I'm a Sr. citizen and get what's called The Ride. I call them to set up a pick up time from home and pick up time for when I'm ready to leave wherever I went. Usually a dr. appointment and it's hard to figure out when I will be done so I always end up waiting at least 30-45 minutes for my ride home. I always bring a book with me to read.

That is a long time to wait for the bus. Do you have another form of transportation like a bike? Would it be possible to ride a bike to your parents home from your dormitory? Was the bus ride 30 minutes? I know I really want to get a bike sometime within the next year. It will sure save on gas and mileage on my van. I can't imagine waiting that long for a bus.

Yeah ,I was almost about to choose by subway though it takes more time,at least ,I need not wait such a stupid bus.
I see many friends recommend me buying a motorbike ,personally view,it a nice idea.
Well,it's not allowed in shanghai cause of the traffic policy.Riding bike is a good way of exercise as well as an actively method to protecting environment.
