Should i upload my real picture in avatar?

Yes you can upload your real pic here or any other social networking site because if you upload your real pic who knows this is real only you or your friends know about you. It is real i have used this method but your pic must be changed by photoshop means it should be look like a image or wallpaper not a pic. So dont worry upload your photo and change every month and get real like comments and new friends. Best of luck

I don't think I would put my upload my picture on any site but fb. Like you said anyone can steal them and say anything they want about it. Threre are so many nice avatars you could choose from.

if you like to post your real picture I dont think there is something wrong with it. however, if you feel uneasy and feel that it may invade your privacy i dont that is a problem. you are not required to put your own photo here. since may of the mylot users are not posting theirs to.

See,both sites,i mean Facebook and mylot. In Facebook,it is not recommended that you upload your photos,but in mylot you can upload your photo without any problem.But it is not necessary to upload real pictures here.Just an avatar or logo or any photo is allowed here.

I have same concern as you are and thats also one of some reason I dont even have Facebook acct. People do such things on internet I just don't want to be a victim LOL

It should depend on you. i think it is our choice and our risk if we put our photos online in mylot, or in other forums you are a member of. we can never really be too sure. if you want your photo as your avatar, then you can do it. ;) there shouldn't be a lot of people who would try to steal your identity, unless you do have a lot of information shared in the internet, or facebook for that matter that they will get to know you too well.

Well, there is no problem when it come to upload your photo or avatar. Some members have done uploading pics but they do not have problem on it.

Hello AKA, It depends on you it hardly matters if you upload you real pics or not. But I feel no one is going to comment on your pic its just a fear in you and you can overcome it once you upload your real pic.

It is your option my friend. I do have the same notion about not putting my real image. It might be stolen form bad elements.

It will make you more credible and trustworthy if you upload your true picture...I think no one will steal your picture unless you are a celebrity or a hot adult magazine model...

There is nothing wrong uploading your real picture as a profile picture or an avatar. I am using my real picture in facebook and I used it then here in mylot when I started joining here but I found out that it is cool to use my pet pic as an avatar...

If you feel comfortable with the idea, do it. I don't like to post real pictures of me on the Internet because I don't feel comfortable with the idea, not to mention I don't want one of my stalkers to find me online and figure where I live. I very cautious when it comes to the internet and sharing personal information.

It's your choice. If you have any doubts and fears like that, it's okay you don't have to force yourself to upload your photo to have it as your avatar.

I think you should not because a your real photo can be misused and you wont be like that. These kind of things looks good in personal only...

You are afraid because you think 1 in a trillion probability somebody will steal your picture? You are good looking let other people see your true picture for them to appreciate your God given handsomeness...it is very rare occasion where a very good looking male hiding his worthy face...
