Lying down while watching tv makes me sleepy

well, as soon as I put the movie on here I fall asleep. I never go to a theater to see one, I just fall asleep.

Well,lying down in night makes me sleepy most of the times.Sometimes i do my work in laptop or browse internet lying in bed.I have rarely fallen asleep watching tv. I usually prefer to sleep with myself getting ready by switching off the lights and things.But then i did sleep at times without finishing off the things.Perhaps another reason could be the fact that i watch program which interests me.When you watch interesting programs it s not easy to fall asleep.Not sure if that's a personal thing, but i guess it should be true for most of the people.Not sure what makes me sleepy.But i get lot of sleep, if i had a very long working day.If i lot of travels and also did lot of work and exercises, then i used to feel tired and sleepy by end of day.And i might sometimes end up in bed quiet early.I might change my stance to watch tv in sofa or couch instead of bed, if it is making you that sleepy all the time.Thanks!

I also watch tv while lying down. But I don't feel sleepy every time. Just when I am tired after a day's work will I fall asleep just a few minutes after lying down.

Oh boy, does it ever! I think between the relaxation and the passive nature of television entertainment that it just lulls us right off to dreamland.

Sometimes it may be a sleepy situations for me while i was on tv shows like comedy, melodious, spiritual items! I feel sleepy while reading a book of any content! more tiredness makes man very sleepy... A delicious food also makes me sleepy instantly like a sweet curd!

Not only you there are many peoples who lay down while watching tv feel sleepy.My friend also feel similar while watching tv therefore till today he hasn't seen a single film at one time.I never feel sleepy while watching film laying down.

Online jigsaw puzzles or some card games are very sleep inducing for me... and all the meds I take to help me go to sleep.

I do sometimes feel sleepy lying on the sofa watching the Television. I usually do if I'm watching TV late at night.For that reason I lie in front of the telly for a bit in order to relax.Even if I get in very late I will watch TV for a bit in order to relax and be sleepy ready for bed Though I rarely ever actually fall asleep in front of the Television.Though the thing that helps me sleep the most is listening to the radio or an audio book or something while I lie in bed this usually sends me off to sleep.

One of my TVs stays on 24/7, so sleeping? Not a problem. I rarely sit down and actually watch it, but if I do, then yeah, it pretty much knocks me right out. In fact, no TV/background noise will wake me up. If the power goes out, the silence will be 'deafening' (too quiet) and it's just like an alarm clock.

Hi liezel. I seldom had the timeto watch television nowadays. If we watch television,itwould be at noight when all the things are done here in my home. We are lying in bed while watching tv. And, I get sleepy too. I don't know. Maybe its the fact that I am tired the whole day or call it dual tasking -- sleeping/napping while watching. Advance Happy New Year and Happy Lotting!

It does make me sleepy when I am lying down. That's how I usually go to sleep. Also, it depends on how tired I am for that day. Sometimes, I do not even need to be watching TV while lying down. If I had a tough day because of work or an unexpected event which causes me stress, I tend to sleep more easily.

When people is in a comfortable environment,she/he would get relaxed and lazy.It is easily for her/him to get sleepy.I am sleepy every morning when I start with my work,or every afternoon when I finish lunch,lol,it is not coz I feel relaxed,it is coz I don't have enough time to sleep well each day.

Watching tv in a comfy place during the day usually does not make me sleep. But often when I lay down and watch tv in the evening or a night I get very sleepy. The only exception is a show or movie that I am extremely interested in. I often fall asleep during marathons, too. My friends laugh at me because I fall asleep during almost any movie we watch if I'm in a comfortable environment. Other things that make are really boring class lectures.
