Fortune Tellers... To believe or not to believe?

Hi greenthumb, To answer your question, yes, fortune telling is possible, I'm not sure how could see predict your zodiac after looking at your hand. There could be two things here: 1. Because of some reasons, she may be envy of you and would be gathering information about you and just to create a doubt in your mind she did that on purpose. 2. She really has the gift of knowing things and she predicted your future to the extent she could foresee. In either case, you should not worry about the future, you know the lines in our hands change and that means, if you be cautious you can change the future. Don't worry about it, it's not that easy to predict someones future, had she have this kind of knowledge she would have been doing it full time. She would have read some book somewhere and she tried to show off. One thing you should be careful about, you should never give your hand for palm reading until unless you feel it's important for you, people who know palmistry can read each and every aspect of your personality and that's something you won't like I feel. There are so many websites on Internet where you can get free horoscope or kundli reading on the basis of date of birth, check a few of those websites, you'll come to know the truth.

There are good fortune tellers and then there are fake ones too. Good ones will never give you tons of bad stuff, not even a little bit. they will just tell you to pay attention to certain areas in your life. About the zodiac sign and animal year, all she needed to know is how old are you. I would not worry to much about what she said to you, because from what you say , she's not for real.

I used to believe this,but now not any more. when i was born,the fortune teller told my mom i would be a teacher when i grow up and i would married to a politician,perhaps a mayor or something else. actually,more than one fortune tellers told this,they all said i will have a decent life.But fact turns out different, I married with a normal guy,even his salary is lower than me (but he loves me much ),i did not have any so called decent life,my i work hard every day to fight for my bread. yes,maybe this saying will be true when i'm getting older( i'm 28 yrs) but i think i have right and we can decide the quality of our life ,not just simply believe fortune tellers' saying,that is kind of stupid.

I open to the possibility that someone can see the future... however, reading the future by seeing your hand or see stars etc are things that i do not believe. If someone telling you something that happen in the past, did you instantly believe it? For me, no... same thing happen if someone telling me something about the future. Even if she have a gift, why would she said something bad to a total stranger? don't you think it's rude? If some stranger said something bad is about to happen to me in the future, i would be very offended, because true or not it is none of their business.

I won't deny that there are those who are gifted to look ahead but their prediction is as good as the time it was read. I believe that all of our lives are interconnected and one change creates a ripple effect as to the outcome of others. If I were you I'll just forget what she said and go on with your life the best you can. Remember---what goes around, comes around. If you sow good then you'll definitely reap good. The problems that lay ahead is part of life and are meant to build our character. Be positive for the coming year and look forward to better things to come!

This is so dangerous. Because I am a Believer of Christ, I am careful not to listen to fortunetellers or read the horoscope. All those bad news affects will affect us and leave us living in fear and misery. I read in The Bible that God forbid His children to consult fortunetellers. Satan knows the Word of God very well and will 'visit' us in any form, and he wants to deceive us. We will then put our hope and trust in what we have heard, rather then trusting God's good intentions for us. Take good care, and DO NOT believe all the bad things the lady told you.

I honestly don't believe in Fortune Telling. Even if someone were to ask to read my palm I would not let them. Why, I have no idea I just don't believe in it. Anyway, if she told you a lot of bad things were going to happen in your life for the next year, I wouldn't worry about it so much. If she is right she is right, but whatever the situation is you could probably prevent it from even happening, by just not worrying about it at all and just go on about your life. Nope I don't believe in fortune telling, horoscopes or any of that astrology mambo jumbo.

I do not believe in fortune telling but I am not sure if someone really has a capability to do that. I know some people are really good in reading people's reaction and body movements that is why they can somehow predict what will happen. They might not know anything about you but somehow it feels like they know everything about you as they can read your attitude and actions.

Hi!! I have had experiences like this before but i don't take things of this kind very important i just listen the what they say and appreciate them for their talent and just leave about whats they predicted.After all whats going to happen is just going to happen we cant change it.Live and let live enjoy every moment till the end comes.

Well don't give a damn. Fortune tellers are just doing a job like a salesman do to sell things. It would be a shame if you are educated and still are thinking about it. Grow up. The more you think about it, the more you are going to be stressful and making work worse for you. Remember fortune is something you make by doing work in present. All the best for 2013.

if you believe bad things only will happen to you and all evilness in life will come to you as God hated this kind of practices and He stated this people are included in God punishment which is to suffer in Hell or lake of fire.I once became obsess with that and all bad predictions they told about me happen and the good ones didn't. my family too DO believe in such practices and you will see all my discussions here is about the problem about my family. I find no peace and you see evilness is there in our home. They said you will find peace in Home.But depression is only i can feel.IT is better to Believe in your dream In the meaning of it. because in the bible God gives message to or warn us through dream also that is the purpose of it.

I do not believe and practice fortune telling, horoscopes, etc. It is written in the Bible, that one should not involve himself with these stuffs because these are not from God. And God doesn't like it. The power is not from God but from below. Have a nice day!

I only believe those foretells base on logic and reasoning,like different character has different destiny.In your case,I think maybe it's a joke your friend made to you,animal year can be figured out if she knows your age,and if you're the kind of people easy to believe others,and your friend's friend is good at persuading,the joke would be successful easily.So take it easy,and don't think too much,I think that's enough.

dont worry, just accepted what you'r here for that. Just do the best as you can for next year for everything you do as usual, just make target list for youself and do that plan and how to achieve that because that's good for you, so brain will not thinking only about that fortune-teller. If you always think about, you will not ever worked well because in your brain always think about that. Always focus on what you will do by your checklist target and believe it you can achieve that.
