I listen to all kinds of music and I love to dance. I love to move with music and often find myself lost listening to different melodies. Are you a music lover? What are you into these days?

another friend who loves music and dancing!!! That is a big fat YES!!! and many of my friends know how much I really love music and dancing...except I rarely listen to or dance to secular music. Now I am not saying I listen to and dance to gospel, but the music I listen to most always exalts G♥d, but the genre ranges from rock, hip hop, heavy metal, and even Hebraic,(actually anything but country, sorry country music lovers)I even listen to classical music. Now you are probably wondering what Hebraic is. This is like Hebrew folk music, but like my other genres, it can range from soft to rap and it was this music I learned to dance to. This is because growing up, "dancing" was evil and yet I had a very strong desire to dance. It wasn't until I was close to 30 I actually learned steps and I went from beginner, to a team that traveled, to a teacher, and now I only dance at home because the churches where I live, they totally don't really understand the kind of dancing I do.. :(

There seems to be a lot of music that praises God. It sounds like you like a wide range of music. That is really cool! My friends all love to dance with me and watch me dance. My feel move really fast and some people have told me I dance to the beat of the music in a different way than they have ever seen. Sometimes I worry that people are laughing at me because I get so lost in the music that I forget where I am and just dance as if no one is watching. It is unfortunate that your local churches do not appreciate your dancing style. Do you have a favorite musician or song? Hebraic sounds really interesting! I will be checking that out for sure!

That is too bad about your dance buddies, I am sorry to hear that! But, dancing at home by yourself can be pretty amazing as well. Sometimes I like it better. When I can't get a sitter to go out and listen to live music I tend to crank the tunes in the house and dance around, cleaning and just being silly. It puts me in such a good mood. My husbands band plays pretty much every weekend and if I can't make a show my friends are always sad. They call and harass me all night :) I will most certainly be on youtube tonight to check out those artists you mentioned and I am excited to hear something new :)

I really enjoy Mumford and Sons and the Lumineers are great! Have you ever Kings of Leon? They are one of my favorites right now! I am not really into metal all that much but I can appreciate a good song from any genre. Do you go out and listen to local music?

What instrument do you play in the band of yours? Do you do covers or originals? I have found that a bit around here too, that bands play a lot of classic rock. I have found some that are very unique as well though. I have had some fun with heavy rock and metal but I find it to be angry and I am much more of a dance and laugh kind of girl :) I will have to check out the Avett Brothers, I have not heard of them...

I know some Kings of Leon. I can't really get into them. My band does Use Somebody, but I don't really enjoy it too much. I love going to see live music. Unfortunately, most bands in my area are Classic Rock and all pretty much play the same songs. I can see why people don't like heavy rock or metal. It can be abrasive, but I really love the energy and the musicianship is very good. Another band that I appreciate these days is the Avett Brothers.

I enjoy listening to many different styles of music. Since I am a country girl at heart; I enjoy listening to country music, I believe many have talent. I turn on my favorite music when I clean my house and I tend to move with it.

I am a music lover and I have a wide coverage of genres that I love listening to, to start off, the most frequent genre of music I listen to is alternative and contemporary rock. My siblings are into different genres of music, and as the youngest I learned to appreciate almost every type of music they love, that's the reason why I've been adept to loving different types of music. I like listening to classical and opera music when I'm feeling rather artistic or when I'm studying. I play rock music when I'm travelling, and listens to soft rock, adult contemporary and country music when I'm about to and while sleeping. :D I'm an anime fan as well, so sometimes I listen to anime soundtracks, but please don't assume that I'm into K or J pop at all 'cause I am not. lol! Sounding rather defensive huh? Sorry about that, I just hate it when people assumes that a person is into J or K pop just because I listen to anime soundtracks. XD

Wow, you sound like me. A lot of different genres depending on the activity :) I have no idea what K or J pop is, could you explain? Do you have any suggestions on music I could listen to that might be new for me? I love discovering new things and would love a suggestion!

Sounds like me! I have music going 90% of the time! I am pretty much able to listen to any type of music as well, although some I like a lot better than others. How do you find new music? Are there places you look for new musicians or do you tend to stick to what you know?

Main music I listen to is metal. I listen to Rock a lot too. A little indie pop (Belle & Sebastian only, actually) and Jazz (Miles Davis, Coltrane). I try to listen to a lot as much as I can, even Rap. I also listen to albums now and not singles. I think it is better and how music should be listened to.

I like light and classical based music. Not purely classical. I like old Hindi,Marathi songs to listen. I enjoy it rather than now a days rock music. I love to sing in bathroom and dance in room when i am alone.I am music lover. Whenever i am disturbed due to some event then i do turn on music to be back in mood and it helps that is what i have observed so many times.

I listen to all sorts of music, no specific genre. I will say that I favor trip hop (Portishead, Massive Attack, Tricky, Sneaker Pimps, Supreme Beings of Leisure, etc) the most lately. I'm really open when it comes to music and I'll listen to anything at least once! :) Some of my favorite bands/artists of all time are: the pAper chAse, Tom Waits, Dax Riggs, Mike Patton, Deftones, and Portishead.

I like light happy emotion guitar songs. I found a good singers named Wangting Qu from Canada Nettwerk. I love her so much when I listened "Drenched" "Jar of love" "Everything in the world" etc. Not just because she is also Chinese. But She is one of my most favourite singers who good at singing english songs. You can try, if you like light guitar songs. Cool.
